Big love, happy reading, all that jazz and I'll see you next time.
Biology is the best kind of physics and chemistry.
Love your list! I'm definitely interested in Never Enough, I think hearing about someone's research/knowledge fuelled by their own experiences can be very powerful.
Glad you enjoyed it! Honestly it was such a good read and I can't believe I had it on my shelves for 6 months before getting to it :)
Fascinating collection! Thanks for the recommendations!
Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for compiling a wonderful list and providing a gist of the contents. Looking forward to indulging in the adventure of reading these wonderful suggestions.
Glad you enjoyed the video 🙂 I have a few more science book videos in my backlist too
How I wish there were more such videos books specifically on the topic of Biology. I loved your video. Looking forward to more of such kind:)
Glad you found it helpful! I love doing weirdly specific recommendations videos - I should have one on medicine/medical history books soon :)
Can't wait!
Elephants on Acid by Alex Boese

So true and you explained it in a detailed way..looking forward to watch your all videos and thank you so much for the recommendations..helped me a lot..🌸🙏🏻♥️
thank you :)
Very interesting book discussion! Of the lot, i think I would find Mutants to be the most interesting. Thank you for the excellent discussion.
It's dense but totally worth it. Glad you found the video helpful :)
Mary Roach is the best! Great recommendations. Neurotribes has been on my radar for years.
I think its such an intimidating book given its length but its so worth the read! And 100% agree, Mary Roach is new fav author for sure. Need to read another one of hers ASAP!
The Mutants sounds fascinating! Thank you for bringing it to my attention :)
Enjoy! It's really fascinating
Thank you!!!!

Wow! Awesome recommendations! I am a medical student from Pakistan, I love medical nonfiction too! ☺
Oh that's really cool. I hope you're enjoying your studies!
Thanks! Another fun, informative video presentation. Can't read them all but definitely some titles for my ever-changing reading list. Most of my science reading selections are in the paleontology and astronomy fields but the one biology related book I have read is "The Botany of Desire" by Michael Pollan. Pollan tells us how plants have employed their devious ways to manipulate our species into spreading their seeds across the planet. The four main plant groups covered are marijuana, potatoes, tulips, and (the most interesting one) apples. Lots of good stuff here and highly recommended. Thanks so much for the content.
I’ve been eyeing that up in bookstores recently. Plants are so weird. I’ve read a few plant books in the past few years (Entangled Lives and The Secret Life of Trees both stand out) but I do want to read more. Also the fact the authors surname is so close to pollen is hilarious.
@@ACupOfBooks So many good books out there! Yes, Pollan is the perfect name!
A scientific inquiry into synesthesia??? Amazing. I don't usually think about science when I read non-fiction, this was a really good video.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I do think I need to branch out a bit into some chemistry or physics soon, but I find myself reaching for biology based science books surprisingly often! There's just such a huge variety out there!
You should look up John Lillys dolphin house, they crossed the line of ethics to having sex with dolphins, the woman scientist needed to change her name and identity after that was revealed. Bizzare
That sounds incredibly weird and unethical. Not sure if it’d be my thing but sounds like a crazy story
சிறப்பான பதிவு. நல்லா சொல்லிருக்கீங்க. Nice recommendations ..
Thank you 🙂
Keep going maam...love from indian
Mary Roach is fantastic! Grunt is super cool
She is great. I’ve read 5 from her now and they have all been very enjoyable.
Thanks for the recommendations. If someone enjoys biology non fiction, they should try reading "the emperor of all maladies" by siddhart mukherjee.
That is a very popular title, though one I haven’t got around to yet. One day hopefully
I think I see Thirteen on your shelf! Did you like it? I'm thinking of getting it
It is indeed on my shelf. I read it last year in August for Thrillerathon and my wrap up is here ua-cam.com/video/Z2k2uXXaXFg/v-deo.html but basically I thought it was good fun, quite silly but a real page turner. It's also book 3 in a series but you don't need to have read the rest. Also was fun having a procedural thriller focused on the legal aspect rather than strictly detective :)
Hello I am from India 🇮🇳 you are so sweet and beautiful I love biology
Hii I'm also from india
Can you suggest more biology books
Hi Vidhi - I have some general non fiction recommendation videos as well as some about medical memoirs/paleontology/natural history that may be a good place to look. I haven't done another video just on science books in particular as I don't think I have many new ones to talk about.
I'm also from India🇮🇳
