There are so many verses that I have found just reading for myself that are far better than any arguments I've heard for certain doctrines, and I wasn't even looking. But the verses simply convinced me way better than any person could, so sometimes, it's just better to tell someone "you know what, I don't have any good answers for you, but this book will."

The bible is a play on words using Assyrian and Babylonian cultural diction. The reason for this is that during the time of Jesus it was obviously taboo to have a Bible. However, if a colorful book of stories was in one's possession then no harm would come to you, this worked to Christianity's detriment when the holy Roman empire then took this metaphorical book and interpreted it literally.

I’ve been reading the Bible for months. In a way it’s prompted my own anxieties because I feel like seeking the kingdom is bringing unbiblical results. Jesus is the bread of life. You shall never hunger yet every day I’m left starving, feeling I’m missing something. No sense of Him. My prayers feel like the never make it outside of my skull. Seek and you shall find yet I can’t get the slightest glimpse of His presence. Obeying his will to the best of my ability yet feel He’s turned his face from me since I started this journey. The flesh wants to slide back into sin as it at least brought some comforts and results. No sense of salvation, or love. It’s a sin, but I envy every Christian who truly knows gods love for them and feels they have a personal relationship with Christ. I feel I’m on a one way radio begging one who want respond back. I’d love for the truth to set me free yet I’m left stuck in chains of error of thinking because there’s clearly a wall between earth and heaven for me.
Hang in there brother. This is a period of spiritual dryness, but it will eventually end. Several Saints experienced a very similar situation to yours, but they stayed faithful, kept going and were blessed for it. This is part of the Lord’s plan, just keep praying and trying your best.
