This was such a rad Autofocus! Larry you should try to do more club/cruise shoots like this. i understand this particular outting was a special re-creation of sorts but this just had such an amazing feeling to it. Maybe a Hoonigan cruise, everyone hitting the canyons or something? that is if everyone can have a running vehicle theyre proud of at the same time lol

RISKY DEVIL
Between them and TMFS in Minnesota they pretty much started the drift 'scene' in Minnesota/Wisconsin/Illinois way back in the mid-2000's. Really nice people and are absolute legends.
Risky Devil and Proceed was were the first times I seen drifting and tandems. Being from chicago, it was mind blowing to discover they're both Chicago teams and genuinely the coolest irl.
Rich Kastler that’s not true at all. Risky devil came in way late, like 2008. Proceed used to be grip gambler and then there was Velocity racing out of Indianapolis. That was in like 1999. That’s where drifting started in the Midwest. And save for a few crews out west, they were pretty much the pioneers of US drifting.
01 SPIRIT actually proceed is a combination of some of the old Risky Devil guys, AND Grip Gambler guys. Proceed is a whole different team from my knowledge.
First time i heard risky devil was on need for speed. Now its game over and addicted to drifting
Beautifully done. Reminds me of 2010-2013 Risky Devil days. Larry my guy, you've captured the spirit of car enthusiasts having the time of their lives. This video is exactly what we needed during this chaotic 2020! And you were able to recreate the experience, via video this time. 10/10, in my feels. grassroot drifting forever.

This was so cool to watch, I use Roosevelt Rd (the bridge at 13:25) and Lower Wacker (the under ground road at 18:00) to commute.

Solid video man. As a chicagoan myself. I have to say this definitely showed chicago in its true form.
Best part about this was Larry’s outlook on the evening all throughout. Obviously everyone had a lot of fun, but Larry was really seeing it through the widest aperture and possibly the “biggest picture” perspective, looking at it from years ago and for years to come all at once. More than just another night of hooning, but as a remake of an old memory that’ll last for the rest of their lives. Awesome shit!

Chicago has the best drift cars hands down we may not live near a bay for car imports so those aren't our strongest points but we dont deal with emissions on older cars so we can do crazy ass swaps also we have winter down time perfect for engine rebuilds and body work that's why our cars look and sound so good we also live in the salt belt so our cars rott real fast but the community strips thoes unsaveable chassis to bare bones and the rest of the community benifits from those hard to find parts nothing gets wasted here also we have a ton of specialty tuner shops all around us so the scene is real out here. Thank you Larry for all your efforts! Well done this one is a real banger🤘
