When we re-arranged our garage, I managed to snag a space for my seed starting. We have wooden shelves that are 2 feet apart. I have hooks for my lights that are on chains. I can set the shop lights super low to start and then I move them up as the plants grow. This helps to prevent the leggy seedlings I used to start with. I have the lights on a timer and a small fan blowing all the time. With the soil blocks and the new lights, I have increased my successes! I enjoy your videos because I feel like you garden where I garden. I am growing Swiss Chard for the first time. Do you ever try to cold stratify the spinach and lettuces?

I had disappointing yield from the Waltham 29 broccoli last year but I heard the De Cicco, Arcadia (if you can find it, I got mine from a random seller on amazon), Imperial or Green Magic will do much better in Fla. I’m zone 10a btw

I grow Waltham 29 too but I put them in a shaded area to cheat the temp situation in Florida 9B.
