The UA-cam community (and social media in general) is extremely toxic as far as people thinking they are owed EVERYTHING about someone’s life. I would love to hear about your experience with neurodivergence as an aspie myself, but I don’t feel like I am OWED that information. I’m just happy to have you back and hear your voice! I missed your videos!

Can relate to working and working and working.... I'd also love to live a bit of a life outside work but it's difficult
Yeah, lots of factors contribute. I know when I worked four jobs at once I earned far less than I do now with one. So working solidly doesn't always result in savings to have a live come rest time, if there is any. Sometimes, we don't want to stop working as it makes work harder to come back to. Big question is, do we live to work or work to live? I work to live, my life is not my job but what I will do outside it.
Your perspective is so refreshing and I'm happy to see you feeling empowered and defining yourself on your own terms. You deserve a lot of happiness and joy. I hope this is the year it comes to you! Thank you for sharing.

Sounds like you're living a 'normal' kind of life. Just work, and family, and relationships, struggling to find time to do much else. Plus doing a sport which is cool and abit different 🙂 and owning your own home, amazing! I think is a very normal thing to not necessarily want to share your life online. Am happy to tune in to see whatever u do choose to share

You come across as having changed quite a bit in the last couple of years. There's a calmness there now. The kind that says "Yes, I know now that life is tough, and doesn't follow the plan, but I can deal with it now".

It's been about 15 years for me watching your channel. The way I see it we are just people living life at the same time. It's nice to have something to have seen through time occasionally. What's more nice is the concept that we are out here trying to make our life feel fulfilled. To that effect, the only thing that matters is that what you do is what you want, if one even knows what that is. Your glasses are amazing btw. Hmm... for ideas, I have none, but since you love Skyrim maybe something creative to do with that? I'm down for whatever.

im sure you hear this a lot, but i discovered you when i was in high school - i ended up watching a lot of your videos - your creativity, the way you composed yourself, and just your whole personality reaaally reminded me of myself and my friends from childhood through to uni (when i got there), so in a way it really feels like i grew up with you, like youre a childhood friend. so i love to 'catch up' in this way, as one sided as it has to be, but just wanted to write something to indicate how much i appreciate you
It's lovely to see your face again on UA-cam! I've been following you on Instagram, but it is nice to see you're comfortable uploading again. I have been watching you from the start, and it's amazing to see how much you've grown and have started to accept yourself for your neurodivergence. I was diagnosed last year at the age of 25, it was a game changer for me as I finally had a reason for the way I am, and it's actually improved my mental health. I hope you continue to upload as long as you are comfortable, and you do not need to share so much if you do not want to, we enjoy you for you! If you do decide to share more in the future then we are all here for you regardless

It's great to hear from you. I guess on the subject of growing and moving forward, it would be good to hear what ideas you have for leaving the UK? Also, I personally, would love to hear how your walk in faith is progressing?
I still believe, though my faith is rather simply nowadays. Found it impossible to settle with a church that ticks all the boxes - so reliant to the online world for connection there.
Iceland is a huge one, but I think that can wait. I think a warmer fun experience is needed after so many years of work.
Separating yourself from social media and keeping more things to yourself seems to have been a positive step in your life, and I'm happy for you. I've always enjoyed your content and appreciated you putting yourself out there to advocate and share and offer your perspective on things, but I'm also glad you're putting yourself first. ❤ Even if the future content you're planning is far less personal, I'm still excited to see what you come up with, and even if you're not nearly as active on here as you once were, I appreciate you checking in every once in a while. As another commenter said, it feels kind of like catching up with a distant relative, at least from our end.

I'm so late I'm even late to the "sorry I'm late" party, but I hope you'll accept another latecomer. I'm ever so happy to see you back. I've been terribly fond of you and your work for years. You keep it real, you're kind, your voice is beautiful, and as you say, you, "keep evolving." As ever, I'm all for you being protective and putting barriers up. I'm glad you're alive and I'm glad you're here. Honestly, seeing you always makes things feel more complete, a little more right, than my lovely life already does. I'm just used to seeing you and being calmed by your charming presence, you belong and that gives me a sense of belonging in return. It's been delightful and I'm sure it will continue to be delightful.

Maybe you can talk about goals for the future, what you want to do to feel more like you are living. I am so bad at that. Trying to actually do lots more of the things i like and not just trying to find a job and recover from bad days/cronic stuff.

I have an exceptionally good memory. Haven’t watched myself back in a while. Those two videos I don’t remember the last time I watched but I remember the light at the time. I know there is another clip, but I spoke around the dialogue too much to use.
Memory isn’t as good as I get older. I remember periods or videos rather than the time codes like I used to :)

Pretty good for being out of practice! An elbow, LOL! Like Gene Wilder & Madeline Kahn in the train station scene of Young Frankenstein. :) Your Essex accent really comes out when you say "nine". Even though you had stepped away from UA-cam I'm really grateful you kept posting on Instagram and occasionally on your tumblr. You've been one of my favorites for many years now and I wouldn't want to lose track of you. On the art side of things, have you ever tried selling your paintings through eBay? I've done quite well with that for years now and their International Shipping option makes things pretty simple for the buyers & sellers. I live in Michigan, U.S.A. and a fellow from Switzerland just purchased a portrait painting I did of Bela Lugosi as Dracula!
