I've grown up watching you Becky....you are utterly brilliant
Wicked.
Right? I remember first seeing the portrait time-lapse like 7 years ago or something mad.
the fact that i kept hitting the replay button 😭 and i believed it crashed after 19373892992774 times. i may need a new phone or tablet to watch this.
Your hair looks so cute. You look lovely Rebecca 💕
That blouse/shirt looks great, love the color
Watch outlander it’s a period drama mixed w/ some Lord of the Rings-esque element.
Love your hair!
i love your hair!! it looks great 😭😭
Have you ever watched Girl Interrupted? I have probably seen it 15+ times and still notice things that I did not see in all the previous times I've watched it. It's a true story mainly about mental health and the soundtrack is amazing.
Good movie!
Your hair looks soo good Beckie! Just YOU all around look amazing! Hope you’re well girl 🧸🎉
Parks and Rec is for me what the Office is for you, so I’m glad you gave it a try! I’m watching Community now, which I definitely recommend, as for Brooklgn 99. Also, John Mullaney’s stand up specials on Netflix are always great. I’ve also been really into podcasts recently - Family Ghosts and The Struggle Bus are my current favorites. Love listening to them while I’m walking.
I think I recommended 'Anna Karenina' to you a few years ago and it makes me so happy you liked it!
Your hair looks so elegant! I don't think I've seen you wear it in that style before. :D
Best rare soundtrack I have, Homeward Bound. Absolutely love it. Pirates has always been my study music. And I love Transformers for in traffic.
Hey girl! Happy to see you!
about time your back
This was fun to watch! 😊
Glad you enjoyed poldark and nought and crosses. I know one of the executive producers from mammoth production who created both of these. I know noughts and crosses was been produced for ages and was so excited to see it as I also love the book series.
i would loove to see a video of your musicals recomendations
Your description of Heroes is exactly how I feel!
You have given me a lot of great ssuggestions. Thank you!
I did 'this is us' on amazon prime and just as I had finished season 3 they added season 4 😁
We share a love of traditional soundtracks, theater, and period dramas. EDIT: and documentaries!
The beetlejuice musical certainly has a more sophisticated/emotional story to tell. It focuses more on the story of a mourning teen, than the Maitlands
YES! DAVID TENNANT!
And Beckie, I hate musicals... I just prefer acting and singing separately. But some of your sketches inspired me to watch some musicals... (remember theodora?) anyway, looks like I haven't watched "you've got mail" so definitely going to be watching that cause I need some uplifting movies to lighten my days!
Thanks for sharing your collection of media. It was interesting from your viewpoint. I never watched Downton Abbey, so now is the time!😘😍😍😍💕💕💕
Great selection 😊 - I've managed to binge-watch a few TV Shows during Lockdown that I've never seen before (e.g. Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, The Stranger, Scream) I have a huge interest in movies and film-making, so since lockdown began I've watched around 60 films so far..
I just finished Life on Mars yesterday - moving on to Ashes to Ashes today!
toujours aussi pétillante beckie, fait plaisir de te voir de temps en temps ( même si trop peu). prend soin de toi :)
love this video !! :)
Yes! Heroes, Lord of the Rings, and The Martian are all amazing. I was one of the weird people who enjoyed all of Heroes.... also, The Martian is based on a book, which I would definitely recommend listening to the audio book of! I may have done that about half a dozen times or so....
Keep posting. Make the posts regular again. Always entertaining, insightful, fun.
Have you tried Outlander? I think it would really be up your alley, I love period dramas who take their historical background seriously and the love story is beautiful, it’s absolutely terrific! (Although the end of series 1 is pretty dark, just a heads up). Absolutely worth it though! Also a terrific soundtrack ;-)
So very yes on the Doctor Who stuff!!!
I enjoyed this. It will help me me select interesting shows to watch and enjoy. Plus you look gorgeous!
You mentioned loving musicals, I highly recommend “Sunday in the Park with George.” I think you may really enjoy it and the artist subject matter.
Hi I have come back to this channel after a long time, this time with my trichy completely gone and healing.
How are you doing Becky?
I know this is irrelevant to the topic of this video, but the couch in the background is just the coolest couch I've ever seen!
I LOVE IT! It's pink, but often looks purple in the background here.
2:48 the movie is definitely different from the musical (or the other way around)
Love Danny Elfman's music for Beetlejuice. With Hot Fuzz I thought it was neat seeing Paul Freeman and Timothy Dalton both get to play nefarious types in one movie. That one's got Rafe Spall in it who is, in my opinion, quietly one of he most versatile actors in the whole world. I still remember you talking about walking near the set of Downton Abbey and how you were the only one wearing any color, haha. I got caught up on Stranger Things and in the process Millie Bobby Brown became my favorite actress, maybe of all-time. Eagerly anticipating Stranger Things 4 though I'm not sure when that will happen since production was halted back in March due to the pandemic. As always, it's nice seeing you! Thanks very much for the synopsis of what you watched during this era!
As a film critic, I have watched a LOT of movies during lockdown. I averaged 4 new movies every week (I did a weekly radio spot here in America). Most of them were pretty bad, but there were some gems along the way.
As many critics do, I put out a top ten best movies of the year list. The Martian and The Grand Budapest Hotel were my #1 movies in the respective years.
Big fan of the LOTR movies. I was a Production Assistant on a movie Viggo Mortensen early on in his career. I even drove him to set a couple of times. Very sweet man. I got t do an email interview with him once, reminded him of who I was and he wrote me a nice little note back to me.
Interesting sidenote, one of my classmates from film school directed several episodes of The Office and Parks and Rec.
PS, loved how your earrings matched your top.
Your hair and make up look lovely.
Well done!
That Samsung clicker/remote at the beginning of the video looks very familiar! We might have the same Blu Ray player.
Not sure if you're been keeping a record in the same way, but I'd love a similar list from you (here or on ig) of what music you've been listening to?
Music not so much as have playlists, but podcasts - YES
I feel like you would love Anne With An E on Netflixs !
Agreed!
you should try outlander. i was apprehensive at first but loved it once i started.
sorry had to edit: how can the two towers be you favorite. i love them all with all my heart but seriously!? the two towers?
and also same with the hobbit. that should have never been made.
Musicals.
Sunday in the park with George.
Mandy Patinkin
Burnedett Peters!
I love gentlemen jack I watched it with my mother when it came out another nice bonding moment with mom
More videos like this please!!
omg Staged with David Tennant has *Michael* Sheen. Martin Sheen is a very different person lol
6:14, kind of like Reign
You look amazing!! 😍
I agree with heroes
do you like Outlander?
I never ever comment on videos but I've been watching you for 8 years (since I was 9) and every video you make makes me extremely happy. Thank you so much for everything you've ever done, you seem like such an amazing person both in videos and in person and I just want to send you a big hug and lots of love!!
I love the intro for the intern. I wish that movie had a second one.
I subscribed. I doubt you'll answer, but why did you decide to hide your subscriber count?
PS. Your glasses look flattering.
It's been hidden many years.
Tired of being judged for my subscriber number. Wish all statistics could be hidden. x
@@beckiejbrown Good call!
IMDB :) Glad someone had decent time watching during the lockdown. I'm lucky I managed to go through all of Rick and Morty. If you haven't watched The Boys, give it a go. It's a nice breath of fresh air in the superhero world
I was a fan of Star Trek Enterprise, better than Babylon 5. I love period dramas too, especially BBC adaptations of any Charles Dickens novel. Please do a whole video on your love of musicals. Which is better Cats the movie or Cats the musical ?
End of 2020 suggestion: Have you seen Soul? It might brighten your day!
Another beautiful animation movie is Wolfwalkers (Apple TV)
Old TV shows: You must give "Being Erica" a try.
❤️❤️❤️
Please watch Outlander! I’d love to know what you think :)
I’m very happy when I see your videos, thank you!
Please talk more about musicals!!!
LOVE THEM.
Difficult though, as bootlegs come into play and that's a hard topic.
Always loved them and performed in them too - miss that
Beckie Jane Brown I have! Sorry to say, but I can’t agree. I love the more historical spin they put on it and “The Neva Flows” is one of my favorite musical theater songs. The set is also breathtaking.
I used to watch you about 5 years ago when i was really struggling with trick, i’ve recovered and i haven’t touched my hair in years :) i had a thought today and i wanted to check on how you’re doing , you look amazing and your hair looks great too!
You missed all the best series of Spooks!
Oh I love lucas north - but watched those series last year. I do find 3-4 lags so much though!
Anna 'Ka-ren-in-na is how you pronounce it. She's Russian. You look stunning BTW. Really enjoyed the recommendations. Have you watched 'Shetland' on Netflix? I enjoyed that recently.
I can’t get over how much you sound like Emma Watson it’s so calming I love it so much
No! You can't not tell us what you thought of Picard! I need to know 😢
Incredibly gorgeous.
You are so tanned!
Hook and me before you I love them 😍
Your hair looks good. Would you consider putting a flower in it? I think it would suit you.
Heroes was good until season 3 when they started killing off good characters.
DEXTER - 5 Seasons - Netflix..... A Must see!!! :)
:-)
I think your "Reasons Not To Have Kids" video was also great and that you provided an awesome list... Keep it up.. I am a list maker as well
