Love the quilting pattern. Thanks for doing the clear blue tiles.
So glad you enjoyed the video!
Thank you for doing a thorough tutorial on the Clear Blue Tiles that is easy to understand and follow and without talking down to or over you audience. You are truly gifted, Jan!
So glad you enjoyed the video!
Thank you so much for reaching out to me to watch this AMAZING video! Watching this has alleviated so many of my anxieties about using the magnetic hoop with the Kimberbell Clear Blue Tiles. I will be going through the affiliate link when I make future purchases for more Kimberbell embroidery files! Jan you are a huge God send in my life and I truly feel blessed!
Thanks Dari! So glad you enjoyed the video!
Thank you Jan for doing this tutorial. I have watched it multiple times to refresh myself on the steps to quilt the design. You are such a good teacher. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us!!
You're very welcome Anna! Glad you enjoyed the video.
I love the idea of zigzagging around the edge. I’ve also had trouble with the foot getting caught under the tape. Thanks!
You're welcome Katherine. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Great demo! Makes me want to start one too! Love the edge to edge design …so lovely!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
I have a BL Solaris Vision. Previously I had a BL Ellisimo Gold II. I never had issues with the foot getting under the 3M Paper Medical Tape I use. But, I also pretty much do embroidery on slow to medium speed.
I was wondering what spray you used to 'glue' your fabrics together. I have never had an issue with spray gluing my fabric sandwhiches together before. Or messing up the race in my machines.
Hi Ellen! I usually pin baste my quilts together. Not really a spray user. I found that zig zagging the edge of the quilts down helps so much, as its too easy for the embroidery foot to get caught under the edge of the tape or fabric at the edge.
Any reason why you did not pull up your bobbin thread. I am using Kimberbell blue tiles; so do I need to pull the bobbin thread up. My machine anchors my top thread and then moves over about 3 inches. I am quilting on a Bernina 770
Hi Leigh! The Brother/Baby Lock machines tie off at the beginning of the design, so I've found if I pull up the bobbin thread it actually shows more on the back than just letting the machine tie off normally. I'm not very familiar with Bernina machines, so yours may start differently and you might need to pull up your bobbin thread.
@@sewalongwithjan my Baby Lock does that, too. It locks the stitch. It could be that she is thinking about in regular quilting you pull up the bobbin thread to tie it off and bury the tails in the quilt.
@@ellenhofer3343 Thanks Ellen!
