Ppl always get that checker pattern on seats wrong, as they did here. The dark color is on the majority of seat with the lighter color being in cracks. Even their reference photos show this.

What airbrush pressure are u using?

The compressor is set to 1.5 Bar, but on the aerograph it will be a little less
