Zx636 2003-2004 is a brilliant bike Considered a very light sportsbike at 164kg dry It's a track & back roads weapon Not recommended as a commuter or a town bike . Probably one of the best bike still in the 600 class.

Nice description of this motorcycle buddy. I use the same b1h every day since 2008. It's a bit old but it's a classic. There was a water pump to replace, brake discs at the front and pads. Then a few chains and sprockets, tires, spark plugs. The timing chain tensioner and front wheel bearings were also replaced. There is a lot of it, however, the mileage is not low. Very fast and good motorbike. I recommend Michelin road pilot for daily use.
Is it possible to some longer trips on the zx6r. I want to buy the 636 but I don’t know if it will be a hard time riding for some hours with that sporty riding position
It’s insane that you got this bike for less than 3k with only 15k miles on it. I keep seeing them going for 3500 plus with over 30k miles on. I’m looking at a late 05 - same model - with 12k miles on it and they want 4 grand! 🤯
I bought my green one with 26k miles beginning of summer this year I paid £3800 with full service history. I sold it end of summer and instantly regretted it. After one month I contacted the buyer and he sold it back to me, so now I’ll never get rid of it. Such a fantastic bike if you can brush aside the uncomfortableness.
I bought 2 of these beasts in silver, one with 3157km the other with 10500km - i did sadly not ride them i selled them just to earn some money- but when i switched from my 2015 GSX-R 750 to it it really feels heavy- i dont know why because it has 161kg and with gas is the wight 188kg- think the Gixxer is a little heavier but it feels lighter- i just drove it short up and down the street and its still not bad- hope the new owner will love ❤it like i do to my Gixxer 🎉
Yeah brakes are fantastic! But I only have a dirt bike to compare and haven't noticed much wobble on the handle bars, so not sure if I will bother(though I may regret that at some point) 😂
The 636s are awesome bikes, seems like a very low price for the bike,even though the millage is high. So i would be careful when buying it. All high cc bikes are heavy, so silly mistakes may result in dropping. The good thing about this bike for a first time user is it can be ridden gently if kept low in the revs as it doesn't hit power till rather late. So if you stay low in the revs when your getting used to it, you should be fine. Hope this helps :)

I just got one JUST drove it home tottaly illegal but hey I made it . I had a gsxr 600 k5 thing screamed.... thus 03 .. would eat it in a quarter mile I'm sure .. toooop speed the gsxr will do over 170 . Stock specs are a lie . They say 168 .. But that gsxr will do 175 at most . This 636 feels lighter imo more power by far.. she'll rip a wheelie in first gear just popping the clutch a tiny bit. Breaks not as good as the gsxr but there the same ? Might go to breaded lines.. might have a power camander . Not sure lol there's a power camander sticker on it so .. probably
@@thomascartwright2295 I sold it, a couple of months back. Just wasn't the bike for me. If you look back through my videos, you can see that I had to do an engine rebuild. This is a rare problem though. So don't let that out you off :) Hope this helps

What exhaust do you have on it? The one on my 636 is way too loud and I’m looking for one like yours.
The one in this video is the stock exhaust for the bike, but I have no put and Dan moto exhaust on the bike, but that is very loud
I have a MIVV exhaust on my 636, it has a nice sound but not too loud
