Very impressive. Your work was more than successful, Rob. The Ford T has become a great model. Something, that would look even better in a showcase. Excellent! Greetings and a nice weekend. Joachim
Great job Bob! Awesome amount of detail payed dividends on this Model T. I have an Airfix bagged kit of that Model T from 1968. Maybe I should crack it open and build it.👍👌 Dan
I did build some of that Airfix series when I was a child. Sadly I don't have them now. It is a great kit of an important car and you did a great job of building it.
Really nice build! I restored a much simpler Airfix Model T which the British Motor Museum had on display earlier this year. Definitely fewer parts (and some missing) compared to this one.
Thank you.. I think I may have that kit, it has very few parts compared, I agree.. :) Was meant to build it for the Civvy Street GB but didn't get round to it, due to lack of time.. :)
@@BOABModels Most were released before I was even born and I'm no spring chicken.. :) Yes, it would be good if they did, but they may not have the tools still, some got sold on to other companies and some were borrowed from other companies and returned. Some may even have been scrapped.. Will take a look at your video now, of your restoration project.. :)
I am disappointed, was expecting to see Swedish markings on it! On a serious note, a true classic car and kit, kinda bold to build this nowadays, which makes it even more impressive. It may be basic, but it looks like fun. Maybe you can follow this up one day with a Dixi car by Revell? Or maybe i should do this :D
I would love to do a more modern kit, but I think the Revell options are 1/24 scale? I do however have an even older Airfix T-Ford to do, I think that kit is from 1957 or something like that. I almost stopped this build because I didn't like the hard brittle plastic, but I am glad I got back to it and finished the build. It did need some modifications to it though, as shown in the slide show.. Funnily enough, somebody from my village back in Sweden shared photos of the village from the early 1900's on Facebook, and on the main street you can see what appears to be a T-Ford.. So they were imported to Sweden very early on, it seems..
hey! really well , friend~ 🤝

Nice classic. I like the color choice.🏅
That's stunning Rob.

@@BasicModelling it would be great if Airfix released some more of their classic cars. Most were last released long before I started modelling.

Brilliant!
It changes compared to the models of planes but beautiful model which you made. Congratulations 👏👏👏
I think Revell do the first ever automobile too. Would be fun to see them side by side
Noice !

Nice, so not all Ford Model T were black.
