  • Installing the Van Compass rear shock mod.
Van has Van Compass 2" lift installed by Agile Off-road with 245/75 tires.
Rear high clearance shock extension brackets.

Used a floor jack to jack the shock up higher and then release jack and guide into position, slide in bolt quickly.
Easy to do. Don't forget to install the spacers!

Thanks for posting this. It looks easy enough. Is it hard to get the bottom of the shock back in the mount? Can it just be compressed by hand to get it in there? Does it require a new shock? I would expect the travel on the shock to be too long now?

According to Agile Off Road the shock is now in a better more neutral position.
I jacked up the shock higher and then guided into the hole, quickly slid in the bolt

Maybe not the lift, but the bigger tires do. I went from 17mpg at factory to 11-13 with 245's and a roof rack, awning etc
