- This is a playthrough from a demo track from my band Surgical Strike. Song: Sorrow Of War.
I played my Jackson Guitars Dinky 2 Pro Series with Evertune Bridge and Fishman Fluence Alnico. I used a Marshall JCM 900 SL-X boosted with a Maxon OD 808x pedal into my Two Notes Torpedo Live.

Man most punk bands in the 90's used JCM 900 or Mesa Dual Recs! I think it's funny when I see videos with these titles "can a jcm 900 play metal" or "can a Telecaster play metal", a lot of punk bands also uaed telecasters.
1thess523 punk isn’t metal. A lot of punk doesn’t have much palm muting and as saturated gain tones as metal
@@ehoc42 go f**k i play punky black metal with tele & NMV amp & no problem. no gain enough ? add gain pedal or compression. no problem with palm mutes; HAIL TELE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's not the gear that matters, but the intent /

Hey Marcelo! Hört sich ziemlich fett an dein SLX Sound. Würdest du deine Settings an Amp und Pedal mit allen anderen SLX Liebhabern hier teilen? Ich habe leider teilweise ziemliche feedback Probleme wenn ich ein OD-9 vor meinen schalte. Benutzt du die 6l6 oder el34 Version? Thanks for the intel and keep up the good work! Stay Heavy! ;)
Danke dir! Ich bin mittlerweile gar nicht mehr so zufrieden mit dem Sound. Ich werde demnächst ein neues Video machen. Leider kann ich dir nicht sagen wie die Settings waren. Ich habe die EL34 Version. Ich hatte die 5881 Version auch schon. Haben mir beide sehr gut gefallen, habe dann den 5881 dann aber doch weitergeben. Ja das glaube ich dir ohne Noisegate ist das auch schwer machbar die Feedbacks unter Kontrolle zu bringen. Beste Grüße und cheers!

Mehr Gain als ein 800 und dann fragen ob man damit Metal spielen kann. Manchmal frage ich mich ob die Leute sich eigentlich mal selbst zuhören.
No need to watch in HD, the sound is alway the same, a myth on youtube...
