Both Calvinism and Joel Olstean are wrong... RC Sproals is saying Salvation is involuntary so God picked you to go to Heaven or hell you have no say... That would mean God forced you to sin and you are along for the ride. It is false. You have Free will and only you can Accept Jesus and your personal Savior and you will have assurance of Salvation. The Default is Hell as payment for our Sins but the Gift of God is Eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Although you are using unbiblical terminology. Nowhere does the scripture say accept Jesus. It says repent and believe alone in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm saying the scriptures are clear. The fact that most so-called ministers tend to categorize themselves, by using different labels as a platform to stand on to present their so-called theology is Spiritually absurd. There is no such thing as reformed theology, denominations, new apostolic, or any such labels. The interpretation of God's Word is not based on what any group or groups of people decide to call themselves. Ephesians chapter 4 teaches us that there is one Spirit. It is obvious that this is not so in this present chaotic so-called christian society in America. One would be wise to stop glorifying the blind leaders and petition the Lord to enable them to LOVE GOD WITH ALL OUR HEARTS MINDS AND SOULS and to LOVE OUR Neighbors as OUR SELVES! Let all the other foolishness go. Jesus said if you love Him, you will keep His commandments. True ministers preach this Truth which is clearly written right before us. It doesn't matter what any other person says or thinks, the Bible is sufficient to explain itself, of course with the guidance of the Holy Spirit !

      @amcds2867 2 місяці тому +1

Exactly. That phrase "reformed theology" almost sounds heretical. Our doctrine has not changed, even though it had been hijacked for a period of history by the Vatican. We the Church have not shifted to another paradigm, or reformed our doctrine. What has happened is some scholars deeming their interpretations on par with Holy Scripture. Thanks to Augustine amilleniasm became a thing, which it should not have.

    • @Brotheral-pb1oj
      @Brotheral-pb1oj 2 місяці тому +2

@amcds2867 I like your use of the word " HIGH-JACKED ", because thats exactly what has happened in many periods of time throughout the sojourn of the precious Gospel of the Kingdom of God, and yes including Augustine! Acts chapter 28 verses 28 thru 30, speaks about men from within the flock, drawing people unto themselves! This is the high-jacking! The enemy loves to see us build partitions between ourselves, because it clearly contradicts Jesus's teachings that the world shall know us by our love for Him and each other. So many of us have fallen into this trap, and it makes the Gospel of non-effect. We are not lights in a dark world, but confused cliques of superficial so-called Christians that desire to distinguish ourselves from one another. Simply because we almost totally ignore the two greatest commandments of Christ. Keeping and/or desiring to keep these commandments would eliminate division and embrace unity in the Faith! Blessed are those who seek these things, because this is what pleases God. I am blessed by your comment, because there is only one Spirit in the Body of Christ, and Christ is our identity, and nothing-else! You are my Brother without all the excess, unnecessary, and detrimental baggage! Blessings and Godspeed to you. 🙏

Romans 10:20 is a prophecy about the gospel coming to the gentiles, so you have taken this verse totally out of context. John 6:44 is about God's convicting ministry, and very specifically in regard to God convicting the Israelites of Jesus's ministry that Jesus was indeed the messiah. Of course God draws people (in the broader context), that what His convicting ministry is always about but it is non sequitur to say that this verse proves or evens hints that God chooses who believes.

Amen. I was thinking the same thing. The title is misleading.
Why would GOD choose to save some and ignore others irrespective of the moral behaviour in both groups? Jesus tells us that those whose names are in the book of life still run the risk of having their names blotted out of that Book. Sanctification is a lifelong walk and Christ exhorts us to endure, and Paul the apostle encourages us to run the race, to persevere - contrary to Calvinism's view that once saved always saved.

It's true, believing in something or someone you have never known is impossible because you don't know them.
Therefore concerning God He would have to make Himself KNOWN in order to believe in Him but to assert that He has to make you believe is utterly false and is nowhere taught in Scripture, they may insert their presuppositions into Scripture but despite that, there are no messages that God must make you believe if you will ever believe.
The most significant evidence that it is an open invitation to believe in God is the great commission. Go and preach to every creature, not specific ones God chose before, not that there are any, but preach the cross to every creature. Calvinists make God out to be a respecter of persons.
For them that perish it is foolishness but for them that are saved it is the power of God TO salvation.

Sure, humans are sinful and unrighteousness exists in us all, so that indeed we are all fallen short of His glory and absolutely none of us can be self-saving by any amount of good or good works.
BUT, even the unsaved can choose good, such as helping out a neighbor in need. This one simple example demonstrates that we have a will that can choose a good thing or an evil/sinful thing. The unsaved can also choose to believe truth, such as the fact that they are sinners. (almost all unsaved will admit to sinful actions when you witness to them - they try to self-justify with their good actions but the point is that even the unsaved can often choose to believe truth, even a spiritual truth) So again, unsaved people have a demonstrated ability to choose good or to believe a truth and remain unsaved and go to hell. So to say that we cannot choose to believe in Jesus Christ is rubbish and dangerous.

That's not true, we are not in bondage against our will.
Listen to Paul in Romans 6 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
We willingly serve the flesh, it doesn't force us to follow it, nor is the devil able to make us conform to him.

Reformed theology is replete with derogatory name calling of its opposition. John Calvin was a baby christian when he wrote the institutes. He was only 3 years old in the lord! He adopted Augustine whole sale. What of Abraham - Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Galatians 3:6. What of Noah? What of Enoch? What of Job? RC doubted his salvation in one of his last videos. The reformation does not teach the New Covenant but rather a truculent version of Augustine's flawed theology.

John Calvin was paid a salary at the age of 9 from the Catholic Church. It would be unwise to say he was a “baby Christian” if you mean that in the sense that he was uneducated on scripture. He was extremely intelligent and though he was not truly converted until later on in his life, he still had a strong biblical education.

@@Faberministries you presume his 'extreme intelligence' in that he studied to be a lawyer of canon law in the roman church. I am a lawyer. Obviously, you do not know what it means to be born again otherwise you would understand the term baby christian. A three year believer is unequipped to write a theological thesis on the scripture or the born again meaning. Would you hire a three year old convert from Catholicism to pastor your church? Check the dates. I am correct. Also, he was an Augustinian sycophant and drew his doctrine entirely from those writings of the man who held Mary to be eternally virginal and the use of government to compel people to convert to christianity.

      @Faberministries  2 місяці тому

I don’t think there is any requirement to be a believer for x amount of years before you can write something that is true. Jonathan Edwards wrote his resolutions 1-2 years after becoming a believer, pastored a key church in NYC 2 years after his conversion, and is arguably the greatest theologian ever on American soil. The number of years after he was born again does not mean he didn’t have a lot of prior knowledge about the scriptures. He was already a published author and considered one of the best lawyers in all Europe, but he did not consider himself born again because he believed the Catholic doctrines.

Total Inability or Total Depravity-Fall of mankind, the world-our human spirits are dead toward the living God of the Bible- Dead means dead. 100% All-Mighty Sovereignty of/from God only-100% gift only to make us born of God/from above.
Because of the fall, man is unable of himself to savingly have any repentance, faith, trust, believe in and for the
gospel. The sinner is dead, blind, and deaf to the things of God; his
heart is deceitful and desperately corrupt. His will is not free, it
is in bondage to his evil nature, therefore, he will not - indeed he
cannot - choose good over evil in the spiritual realm toward HIM. Consequently,
it takes much more than the Spirit's assistance to bring a sinner to
Christ - it takes regeneration by which the Spirit, THE LORD makes the sinner
alive and gives him a new nature, becoming a new creature in his/her spirit. The human spirit and God the Holy Spirit become and are one. Biblical Bible (OT and NT) Faith, Believing,Trust and Repentance is not something man
contributes to or towards salvation but is itself a part of God's gift of
Salvation which He Himself is - it is God's gift to the sinner, not the sinner's gift to
      God.

All we were and all sins deleted in our stead, in our place, as our substitute, for the "us."100% All-Mighty Sovereignty of/from God only-100% gift only
God's choice of certain individuals unto salvation before the
foundation of the world/universe is only of/from HIM and does rest solely in His own sovereign will. His
choice of particular sinner in all of human history since the fall was not based on any foreseen response or
obedience on their part, such as Biblical Bibel faith, believing, trusting repentance, etc. On the
contrary, God gives faith, believing, trusting and repentance to each individual whom He
selected/elected/chose/predestinated/ordained/called effectually ,etc. These acts are the result/outcome, not the cause of God's choice.
Election therefore was not determined by or conditioned upon any
virtuous quality or act foreseen in mankind. Those whom God sovereignly
elected He brings through the power of the Spirit to a willing
acceptance, choosing etc of Christ. Thus God's choice of the sinner, not the

sinners. In addition to putting away the sins of His people, Christ's
redemption secured everything which is necessary for their Salvation, including

In addition to the outward general call to salvation which is made to
everyone who hears the gospel, the Holy Spirit extends to the elect a
special inward call that inevitably brings them to Salvation. The
external call (which is made to all without distinction) can be, and
often is, rejected; whereas the internal call (which is made only to
the elect) cannot be rejected; it always results in conversion/Salvation. By
means of this special call the Spirit irresistibly draws sinners to
Christ. He is not limited in HIS work of applying Salvation by man's
will, nor is HE dependent upon man's cooperation for success/Salvation. The
Spirit graciously is the cause and effect in the elect sinner to as a result cooperate, to believe, to
repent, etc (see above) to come freely and willingly to Christ. God's grace
therefore, is invincible; it never fails to result in the Salvation of
those to whom it is extended/given(gift)offered,etc.
Salvation is accomplished by the almighty power of the Triune God. The

Christ's death effective/efficacious by bringing the elect to faith and
repentance, etc (see above) thereby causing them to willingly obey the gospel. The entire process (predestination, election, redemption, regeneration,
glorification, etc) is the work of God and is by PT and NT (Same Salvation) grace alone. Thus God, not
man, determines who will be the recipients of the gift of Salvation.
      5
Guaranteed preservation and perserverance of the Saints-100% guarantee of absolute perserverance-100% All-Mighty Sovereignty of/from God only-100% gift only
The last of the five points of Calvinism teaches that God preserves His people so they can never be lost. To put it simply, it means this: "Once you are saved, you are always saved."
God's Word is full of proof for this beautiful truth. And though many deny it, and tell you that you can be lost and saved many, many times, and therefore can never be sure of your salvation, the Bible says otherwise. Talking about His elect sheep, Jesus said: "And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" (John 10:28). See John 6:39, 17:2, 11,12; Romans 8:37-39; II Tim. 1:12; 4:18, etc. etc.
Some object to this doctrine because it supposedly makes men "carnally secure" in their salvation. That is, if I know nothing can make me go to hell once God has saved me, I will "live like the devil." There have been some who have used this beautiful truth as an excuse to live like the devil. But they are not Christians. Nor do they understand this truth. Because this truth also implies
      "PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS."
Those who never fall away are saints. They are holy. And they are given power to live holy lives. They "continue in well-doing." Anyone who says he can "live like the devil" has not experienced the saving power of Christ and does not know the meaning of Philippians 1:6, "He that hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." God will continue working good works in us until Christ returns. Don't think otherwise.
Is there any hope for Christians without this doctrine? We don't need to be "scared to heaven." We need comfort. Because we know that if it were up to the Christian to remain saved, he would never be able to do it. You know yourself!!!! There is no power in me apart from God's grace.

*Calvinism is a FALSE GOSPEL.* Jesus died for *ALL of us* (John 1:29), (John 3:16,17), (John 4:42), (2 Corinthians 5:14, 15), (Romans 5:18), (1 Timothy 2:6), (1 Timothy 4:10,11)...etc. Because He is an incredibly loving and merciful God!
A “god” who has billions of souls in His hands, all of them sinners, and who, being able to choose, chooses the *immense majority* to destroy them in hell!!, not to save them… could be sovereign, but *He is NOT a God of love, he is NOT a merciful God.*
My calvinist friend, you are not going to like what follows. But it is *very important* that you know. I very much fear here is the deep and hidden root by which calvinism penetrates so easily into the corrupt human heart. Well, here it goes:
You are not better than anyone. God didn't see anything special in you. Nothing. You are not worth a cent more than any of the billions of souls that your “god” is going to send to hell without any possibility of choice. The only reason God could choose you without violating His character, without being a respecter of persons, (Romans 2:11) is because He knew in advance that you would respond positively to His call. “For many are called, but few *chosen.* ” (Matthew 22:14)
These are the chosen ones! Those who say: Yes! to the marriage of the Lamb.
To give someone freedom of choice… Yes! That’s love!! "I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; *CHOOSE,* therefore..." (Deuteronomy 34:19).
Also, *the Bible does NOT say that we are totally depraved beings.* Be very careful friends! This statement could well come from the mouth of satan himself, who is completely depraved. *We still carry the image of God!* Let's not forget it. And because of that, we can *BELIEVE* and respond freely to God's call for salvation.
*That limited atonement is an abomination.* Heresy of great caliber. There is nothing exclusive or limited about the cross. Nothing!! *He paid for ALL our sins* (Isaiah 53:6), (1 John 2:2), (John 12:47), (1 John 4:14), (Hebrews 2:9). That is why Jesus commands us to preach to every creature in every nation.
Irresistible grace? Not only is it a heretical concept (Acts 7:51), but it is absurd in its essence. Grace is a gift by definition. A gift that cannot be refused... is not a gift, it is an imposition.
*Once saved, always saved, no matter what you do, it is one of the devil's biggest and best lies.* The Spirit of God is not up to nonsense! The entire New Testament is full of warnings, from Jesus and Paul, against apostasy. Warning someone of a danger that does not exist is stupid. The Spirit of God would never do such a thing. We need to study the Bible, but we urgently need to take off our Calvin glasses so we can see. Prayer and fasting. By the way, cessationism is another heresy. *All* the gifts of the Holy Spirit operate today for the glory of the Lord. God wants you to know it. (Sorry for my english)
    *THE END IS NEAR.*

A lot of talk about reformers and their writings, no Scripture to base the video's statement (claim) that people cannot take a step of faith to know GOD. It is true that as Paul writes in his letters, that we have sin in our members, and the morally corrupt bodies we live in will not change their trends and evil pursuits until the end of this lifetime, even those of us inhabited by the Holy Spirit. However our fallen state does not prevent us from taking a step of faith in accepting the free Gift of Eternal Salvation. Our doctrine is the Bible, no other book - wether it be from reformers, scholars, other Christian writers.
