I love the look on Milena's face as she plays the cowbell. At several points it looks like she is trying hard not to smile or laugh. It adds so much to the overall sense of fun about this cover.

I have been following this young lady’s shows. I’ve been a drummer for more than 40 years and some of the tricks she uses took years to learn. And her style is really good. It took me a while to play drums and not to cramp up from playing like she does. She has a great gift!
I've seen many people that claim to be cowbellists, but no one that does it with that much precision and cuteness.

This performance by Milena teaches us never to underestimate the 'value-add' a cowbell (in the right hands) can bring to a piece of music. Loved it! ♥

Before I clicked on the video, I looked at the thumbnail. The first thing that popped in my head was 2 young ladies that have similar names as 2 characters from Mortal Kombat. The 2nd thought was more normal. Sina is naturally gifted. These songs are from like 40+ yrs ago and she still has the respect of playing vintage classics covering music with the drums.
That final 'donk' of the cowbell at the end made me giggle. A young lady getting in some practice for later in life of 'getting the last word in'.

In the 30's and 40's, Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich brought the drums out of the background as a simple rhythm instrument, into the forefront of music with a voice of its own. Sina is now, in the 2010's and beyond, reviving what those two started. PAY ATTENTION, PEOPLE! When this woman sits down at her set, you aren't going to see spinning drum sticks, over exaggerated movements, or flashy crud. What you are going to see is an intricate dance! Watch how she moves with the music. She isn't just hearing it, she's feeling it, like a world class dancer would. And she transfers that into her drum set. Together they perform something that is beautiful to witness. The sound of the drums is sweeter and purer because she isn't just "playing' them, she is, at that moment, one with them. (Pardon the mushy simile.) If we don't appreciate what she's doing, electronically produced drumming will prevail, and it will surely be the sign of the apocalypse. Okay, a bit over dramatic, but considering The past 20 years of modern music and the seemingly disappearing art of live drumming, we NEED this woman to continue her mission! Girl got groove? Girl got soul! And girl also got genius dad, and she also got ... The Queen of the Cow Bell. There is hope for this world after all.... Amen.

totally agree w/ you. she becomes part of the drum and music and creates her dance. that is what makes for the best drumming , music and bands that sounds extra good. Im playing drums myself for 50 years....so refreshing to see her approach.

And, using the lead of her own creation, "No Sir, I Won't Play In My Underwear", she's not doing it half dressed or less. It's her drums (and more) and the music she covers and plays that attracted us to her; and as she branches out into and learns to play other genres (as she introduced on 2021-03-19), we'll follow her there as well.
Oh, and don't leave out her mom; we don't see her, but I refuse to believe that her mom hasn't been "instrumental" in Sina's development.
I am an armchair rocker who performed this song on air drums when it first came out, probably when I was Milena's age in this video. Despite the generational gap, I couldn't hold a candle to Milena’s performance, delivered with polished perfection. Great job. And Sina, thank you for covering this timeless Blue Oyster Cult classic in such a virtuosic yet entertaining way.

I love this .... Sina your drumming is always technically perfect - but I think (having watched many of your videos) sometimes,( I guess with the songs you really like) - you allow the rhythm to completely take you over - it is fantastic to watch and this was one such song.
And as for Milena she had me in stiches ... the first expression was definitely "There I was perfectly happy watching TV so what the hell am I doing here" ... leading on to "Well this is about as exciting as watching paint dry" ... leading on to "I am still here --Hells bells Sina owes me big time" ... on to "I will have the last note after all I am the star here" ..... just brilliant ....

In all my experiences of all and/or all things to do with being a part of playing, teaching, wishing at times I was doing, have I ever seen such controlled talent in Jadyn , Sina, and all of anything supporting their musical preference. They are at their time better than yesterdays and todays greats when they were of that age. They're young, they have coaching. Good talent, great put together sound, awesome potential for originals. World, get ready. We're about to get great musical treats once again. everyone see this. I know effort, I know trying. Take the love and effort they're doing, support what they are wanting to do for all. I wish I could have been even the smallest part of what they're doing. Maybe this seems over spoken, over anything, they are to be taken ever so seriously. Great work ladies and all those voices, players and the hard working people off all the professionals that work with you.
