Holy shit this guy is crazy
Haha
why thank you kind sir
i love how justin is giving them free pro advice and they're just "we don't wanna do that teach us how to hit the ball" and learned nothing
Ima keep it a buck, I'm a gc2 player and jstn did really not do a good job teaching them the basics
There's no point teaching shitters like these any advanced stuff
@@youtubeonly520 to be fair they're at a point which they shouldn't be coached anyways. they're far too trash at the game and just need more playtime.
They really just need to go in practice mode and train. Thats how I got better and everyone else gets better. Just gotta practice over and over.
@@youtubeonly520 Fr tho. C3 here and I was thinking to myself just how badly Justin was explaining stuff to me lol. Either of us could've done a better job. But yeah like another commenter said, they're at the point where they just need more playtime. Coaching will probably help more after they've played like another 30-50 hours
@@youtubeonly520 same thing i was thinking, i know hes not a teacher but those explanations would confuse me even more if i was new
With 356 score, 5 Shots and 3 Saves, Jesse once again proves why he is the GOAT.

My heart is full, my soul is light as a feather,
Your kind words have touched me in a way,
That I will cherish forever and a day.

You've made my day, you've made it bright,

It's rare to find such kindness and grace,
In this world that can be a difficult place,
But you've shown that love and warmth still exist,
And for that, my gratitude cannot be missed.

This is awesome seeing justin coaching. I remember playing with him and jeg long time ago and saved all the replays now i am peaking at gc3. Keep it up xQc comes with time and just do lots of practice tool
Idk how no one tells xqc to rotate to the “goalie”/last defender position. He never rotates back when his team goes up. Poke is stuck im the back most of the time bc xqx doesnt rotate to defense properly.
Last time justin played against xqc ages ago and just what a saved him lmao

i feel like they made it so hard for jstn to teach them and i feel like at the level theyre at they should just play the game rather then be teached by somebody like jstn who just absolutely mastered the game
bro you cant be coached at silver/gold. its all just for fun
@@st3pn547you can, ive done it you just need to understand their perspectives and give them ideas that they can visualize reasons for and make sure they have references to what youre teaching them for real games.
yh i agree like they just need to practice hitting the ball and other simple stuff. Jstn can't really teach them anything becasue it would take them literally 100s of hours to improve their mechanics to a point where they can be coached. It's like when they asked about kick-offs well u need to spend the next 2 weeks practicing your kick-off as just a baseline before any tips would actually be helpful.
@@JakYTTV yup, exactly. This was really for entertainment more than anything. Not much to learn with a mechanical skill of a snail.
When he said "At your level", it reminded me when Hikaru tried to teach this absolute Pepega chess.

The skill curve in this game is honestly crazy. I’d bet a C2-C3 player could 1v3 them. So many levels but it’s why I love the game
As someone who has made is to GC3 after countless hours, this was very refreshing and entertaining to watch. 😂😂
This was actually a very fun video.
Honestly this clusterfuck was so entertaining.
Funny thing is Jesse getting kicked is probably the party crashing due to connection issues but they don't know that so they just mald at eachother.

I'm kinda shoked that I'm a champ and I play this game 4 like 3 years and I still learned some basic stuff today. Like 4 example I never watched my boost after kickoff and always just went with it not controlling how much is left in my tank after the touch although it does make sense to keep some for rotate afterwards. But idk I guess I do this unconsciously sometimes but still I never realized the importance of it.
Brother I am gc2 and didn't know about the tapping your powerslide instead of holding.
you shouldnt have any left unless your delaying, he just said that for their skill level
@@Playerusoxcrs that's not true
@@Playerusoxcrs You should definitely aim to have some boost after the kickoff, to boost into the mid boosts/corners or to stay with the ball on kickoff. 10-15 boost off kickoff is ideal.

This is like if Michael Jordan had a private coaching session with a guy on the street who just found out was basketball was last week.
exactly like imagine trying to teach fundamentals to a guy who isn't even capable of doing them
the guy putting nailbiter almost made me cry
That 1v3 was like a real wake up call about the skill diff and how much they have to learn to get good lmao
The 3v1 is the purest rocket league experience 😂😂
x is legit better at coaching than jstn, he's asking the right questions. really is maximizing the things he can control
maybe because its almost impossible to coach a low rank? the entire game is gamesense, just play more and youll be better, theres nothing to teach than personal mechanics and gamesense, especially when jstn is literally top player in the world speaking to monkeys?
he's a rocket league observer
eh idk rocket league takes alot more time in terms of practice because the game is so mechanical. A lot of the things they were asking don't really have simple answers and would take someone of their skill level 100s of hours to improve on so idk what they really expected. Also coaching a silver is very differnt to coaching someone high level as the game is extremely different in terms of what you should and shouldn't do so justin was just tryna keep it simple and focus on them not all going for the same ball and confusing each other which they even struggled at that. I would've preffered if justin had focused on trying to improve their mechanics like telling them how to practice and maybe showing them some simple stuff like how to wavedash
@@JakYTTVi don’t think you’re wrong, but if people learned how to chill and observe the whole field and play accordingly earlier, I don’t think that would be bad. most people that have played team sports come in with that knowledge already and then people like me only realize at diamond that it’s actually important. then you start getting to GC/SSL lobbies on the 6 man’s discord and you realize that decision making is literally everything at that level, mechanics are just not enough.
X should really change his binds and camera settings to what a pro uses it would help him get the basics down easier
He should use my controls, they are relatively basic

the elite actually had the same hitbox, but a bigger head, which made the head harder to hit if you didn't aim for near the neck
his defence is actually pretty good for how many hours he has
I've been playing this game since 2015 and it's pretty hard to get a start in it cus the learing curve is way harder than over games imo
Yeah its a free physics game which always leads to extremely steep learning curves. Games like these were more common back in the day, on things like arena shooters with quake 3, when gaming was only popular amongst a more niche hardcore community. The normie gamer era came right after though, and kinda killed these very competitive games to appease a more casual audience, and make them feel like everyone could win without that much time investment. These games got massively popular for obvious reasons as the majority of gamers were new to gaming and didnt really want to sweat much even in comp games. Lately more games have started going back to the high skill cap meta though, since gaming is already mainstream popular and kids grow up playing comp games and look for a harder challenge where effort and grind pays off soon enough. Thats were games like rocket league, where the skill gap is so huge you can straight up solo demolish multiple players of a couple or just 1 full rank below, start getting popular again.
When you cars undercarriage is facinng you the controls are flipped its hard to get use to but once you have it down it isn't hard. I'm trying to learn flip resets which is harder to learn then airdribbling.
The skill floor is beneath the earth, but the skill ceiling is above the heavens.
WOW XQC CHALLENGED JUSTIN IN ROCKET LEAGUE, I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED IN THE END😨💀🧛♀️😒😴

true, thats often the case with people who are really good at something
When the solo team has more coms with himself than the 3 person team
lil bro yelling like hes the carry omegalul. chat had me cacklin w the - must - hit - the - ball - schizo
The best advice for starters is to play really. Justin did nothing wrong they just have to practice hitting the ball and being in the right spot.
Bro X didn’t hit the ball a single time in the 3v1 match
xqc swore 87 times during this video
actually it was 88 times

Bro someone just made it up at one point cause they couldn't even be arsed to do quickchats anymore and the rest is history.
Lil bro talked smack for 1 hour and a half just to have his snoozer put back in place in 0-17 💀
Justn did a good job but he forgot alot of things like teaching them Rotation, Second jump to hit the ball, flicks boost managment how to aerial
THIS IS PEAK CONTENT
"The ball's going up the wall like this. What do I do?"
Yes.
So what you do is spend 100 hours of freeplay flying for the ball in the air. Then spend another 100 hours practing hitting the ball off the sidewall. Then another 100 flying after the ball after u hit it. And then you'll know what to do
@@JakYTTV A.K.A. Yes
@@maphistaa Yes
Xqc doesn't want to play goalie when its his turn so the team is automatically going to fail
as soon as i seen he was playing rocket league i knew he would be a ball chaser. He could probably be cracked at this game lmao
It's so difficult explaining things to new players in this game, there are obviously some fundamentals but you can't really teach things like car control/most mechanics, and positioning is extremely situational. You kinda just play enough until you've seen every possible scenario and know how it plays out and trying to break those down gets confusing
yh problem is they don't even have the baseline mechanics to be taught what they should and shouldn't do since they are not capable of doing it so justin was focusing on making them not all going for the same ball and confusing eachother, they even struggled at that.
a better strat would have been to tell justin hes not allowed to dodge on kickoffs gives them a chance to hit the ball LOL
Tbh the only thing justn was coaching was them learning to play as an actual team. The hardest thing to teach X. Props and idk if it worked
The end of XQC rl career LMAO

The best moments were when x called Jesse, Steve xD
0:43 Lachinio is in chat
the 0-15 was crazy
I feel like this game is hard to teach, you just have to play for yourself to master car and ball control
the fucking comms when they actually miss everything so hilarious man
It feels like chat was forcing this interaction so hard that jstn was not ready or even wanting to "coach" because he probably isnt great at coaching people and explaining things.
professional ball juggler
coach says "sit net" X thinks rushing out is better, enemy score. LuL
TrollDespair THE 1v3 INCIDENT
The number one problem with people getting into rocket league is they want to go from being shit to start doing all the stuff that gets highlights right off the bat, even basic aerials arent needed for a while as you climb up the ranks. No one and I mean no one gets to that level that fast. Its a fun game when you stick to playing at how youre comfortable playing but if you want to move up in ranks and play competitively, much like any other game, you got to put in work.
exactly i felt bad for jstin cos like what is he supposed to tell them. Oh u want to know what to do on kickoof, well do this and btw its gonna take 2 weeks of practice to see the improvement/benefit
45:30 made me clean up my desk for 15 mins because I made the mistake of sipping coke
Justin - “oh no…..oh noo”
This was amazing
this hurts to watch i just wanna give him tips like bind airoll right or left because its easier to understand when your new because jstn didnt know he was using basic airoll
Man talks at the speed of light
jstn really rolled them all into a blunt and smoked them
no freakin way!
Run it back but with zen😏
When did they add the gorilla emote its so funny 🤣🤣
1: xQc starts playing RL
2: He's not very good and screams a lot
3: People give him little advices (literally 5 to 10 words in a sentence) about how to improve quickly
4: He screams how he want to "Enjoy the game as it is" and we're dumb
Final step: After realising that losing and not knowing wtf you're doing isn't that fun, he tries to learn
That was very obvious from the start. Winning and playing good is fun in every game and losing is not :)
It always frustrates me to watch when someone wants to play something, but doesn't want to read how to do it and ultimately doesn't know what's happening on the screen. It's a waste of time playing that way, because you'll have to read anyway. Often people want to do something as if they have 5 minutes to live.
I think it's a good example between learning by the book and learning through experience tbh ahahah
jstn just teach em basic rotation pls
bro JSTN was trying so hard to get XQC to stop chimping after the ball lol. Lowkey he needed to whip out paint and show X why rotations are so useful. Most the goals in 3s are XQC's fault from cutting rotation.
edit: Plus you could tell JSTN was kinda nervous, and he's talked before about how he thinks he's the worst person at explaining things. He needed to just talk more about "this is how it's good to flip into the ball. When you're going supersonic you don't need to boost"
41:34 that was so close to be an amazing flick
Whenever i watch an Xqc video, all i hear is donnie from the wild thornberrys
3v1 but the entire team is playing bumper cars on each other
