actually you can make the challenge harder: - mp_defuser_allocation 2 (gives defuse kits to all bots when they are ct but to disable it for the challenger you put mp_defuser_allocation 0) - actually bot_difficulty 5 is better even if 3 is for expert - some bots profiles are actually better than others and you can choose which one to play with why I know this? I am playing 1v5 with these settings to warm up (I have no friends I know xd)
I don't think 4-5 are programmed to be that much better than 3 but it would be interesting to play against. But if Valve programmed actual lvl 4 to 5 unique difficulties I feel like 1v10 would be impossible since a lvl 3 bot had a brief moment of aimbot, like Rock @ 31:35

There are a lot of other commands, which also could help like always buy how often to use nades and so on if you use add bot you can even choose the name if I remember correctly to get the best bots.

The way Valve programmed some of these bots to have their own unique personalities and playstyles was truly ahead of it's time. Would be pretty sick to see something similar added for CS2.

this kinda confirms what ive been testing in cs2 deathmatch going for knife kills on bots, the pistol bots seem to have the most dangerous aim and rate of fire.
In 1v5 challenge I pick CT and I run these commands twice to be sure: sv_cheats 1; mp_autoteambalance 0; mp_limitteams 5; bot_kick; bot_add_t; bot_add_t; bot_add_t; bot_add_t; bot_add_t; bot_difficulty 5; custom_bot_difficulty 5; mp_restartgame 1; mp_warmup end; - I'm silver and I can beat 5 bots. Somebody told me that these commands are not enough to the challenge, but there is nothing more I can find. Maybe the bot difficulty 5 isn't enough? Maybe they used some script in this challenge to make the bots act more like in deathmatch? I dunno. If someone knows more, I'd apprichiate the info.

In my opinion cs2 bots on expert level is like cs-go easy or medium difficulty, cs2 1vs10 bots is quite easy for me (on hardest difficulty) but in cs-go was a bit harder
When I tried this back in CSGO it is a real challenge, I only managed with Negev or autosniper when not doing that camper strategy, the bunker strategy worked extremely good just like the way he did, but modern cs bots are even smarter than before.
i used to play 1v5 against expert bots for fun, i got jumpscared so many times they tag you so fast but dont kill u right away and they used to kill you through smokes too

I was thinking about why the bots often rush to T-spawn in the first half. Maybe they were trained on real game data. There are many games, where one player is afk, so as soon as only this one is left, all players go to the spawn to kill the afk player. So maybe the bot model has learned from these recordings to rush to the enemy spawn site if only one enemy is left, which I find quite amusing, if true.

you can increase bot difficulty by doing "bot_add_ct expert" command instead of normal one i think
