Not only is it better than anything that the FIA and Formula One racing broadcasters have actually produced on television but it actually helped me find an even greater level of respect for how good Sebastian Vettel was. With the greatest of respect to Josh I think it’s embarrassing that TV studios and the main broadcasts of the sport itself could not even come close to how good a UA-cam video is. Josh, keep doing what you’re doing, in a sport that keeps embarrassing itself, it’s great to have people like you helping people to continue enjoy it❤
Richard you have a special insight to quality I absolutely agree with your summation of Josh’s video and what he has produced What One man alone not a corporate can produce for us to enjoy is marvellous . It’s always quality over quantity, producing worthwhile products and striving for the elusive perfection time and time again His quality leaves him far ahead of the pack and one would hope that his abilities will be noticed by people who can help drive his ambitions
I was only 5 when Seb won his first championship, I was there watching with my dad. Even though I was only 5, I felt something when Seb won. From that day on, I have always been a fan of Seb. My whole room was covered in Sebastian Vettel posters, models of Seb's car, and even a 1/5 scale replica of his helmet. Danke, Seb. Danke, dass du meine Kindheit gemacht hast.

Goddamn, you outdid yourself with this one Josh. You’ve encompassed every bit of Seb’s extraordinary career. I can’t believe how much he accomplished in his 15-year stint in F1. He will be missed. Danke Seb.🥰🥰
This end made me fucking cry. DANKE SEB VOM GANZEN HERZEN. DU bist der Grund warum ich mit F1 Schauen angefangen habe. Thank you Josh for awesome video.
He has certainly given the sport everything, from wins, championships, controversy, but some of the most memorable ones as well, like moving the no1 sign, tidying the stands after the race, having a commentator say" seb has a shiny perple helmet!". He is one of my favourite drivers ever. I will miss him big time. Danke Seb
Such a brilliant tribute to Seb. I feel the more time rumbles on people’s appreciation for how brilliant Seb was in F1 will only grow. Seeing how much love he had as he finished out the season was really special. He leaves a huge gap on the F1 grid next year and beyond. Amazing video. Danke Seb

I have been a seb fan for around 11 years and abu dabi made me shed some tears and the video made me shed some tears as well. I shall never forget this legend
I nearly cried during his interview on the grid after the race in Abu Dhabi. The fact he was allowed to go and do the donuts and interview with the top 3 was so cool. Danke Seb
7:58 "Kubica's crash took him out of commission for a while" is a bit of an overstatement. IIRC he was perfectly fine to race at Indianapolis but BMW didn't want to risk him getting a second concussion so soon after the first one.
I feel honoured to have watched his career start and end From BMW Sauber at Indy '07 to his final (maybe so far) ace for AMR in Abu Dhabi, it's been a privilege to witness his time in F1
What a stunning compilation this video is. Had the privilege of meeting Seb a few times when we still had races in Germany. He was always so approachable, always taking the time to exchange a few words despite the crowds of people. Will miss him dearly, not only a special driver, but a special human as well :)
I watch formula 1 since 2008, when I was 8 years old. Despite being brazilian, i always had my eyes on Vettel, because of the outstanding performances in that season. I've grown-up watching Seb establishing his name in the history of F1! At the USA GP, back in 2013, he said one of the most remarkable phrases "he have to remember these days, because we don't know when they'll end." When he announced his retirement, i was gutted, shocked, and utterly sad because i dreamed that, one day, I could see him on race track at Brazil, but at least i was blessed by being able to see the legend racing and achieving what he achieved. #DankeSeb You will never be forgotten!
Beautiful tribute to one of the greatest drivers to ever grace the sport. I personally loved Seb's villain era. He didn't give a damn and destroyed everyone. After his highest peak, he toned down and is truly a man of class. Thank you for this video Josh. Danke Seb
When I was a little kid and my dad was watching F1, I didn’t really understand it but one thing did, Seb. I don’t know if it was the Ferrari but I loved him. As i came back into the sport earlier this year I saw Sebs name again and I remembered him, it just made me love him even more. Sebs an icon, a hero, and im sad to see him gone. At the laters points in the season we saw Seb for who he was, a bloody fast driver. Danke Seb
Never used to be a Seb fan, but over the years of his F1 career I grew to love him. Was absolutely gutted when that retirement announcement came about. He will always be remembered by F1 fans, he’s probably one of the most intelligent F1 drivers in the history of the sport & as you stated, went from villain to hero for many of us. I still hope he becomes part of the FIA in future, lord knows they need someone like him at the helm.
My favourite driver alongside Kimi. Supporting Ferrari gave me a lifetime's worth of trauma but I'll forever cherish the moments of sheer brilliance Seb has given us on and off the track. Danke Seb! Seb is a legend and uncontested all-time great of this sport!
Danke Seb. He made so many memories and moments that will never be forgotten. I'll never forget him winning his fourth world title in India. Still remember watching it like it was yesterday.
40:27 this part until the end is just perfect. idk why seb downplays his achievements probably because a part of him feels incomplete since he wanted to win a championship with ferrari
the first race of f1 that i remember watching was the season opener of 2010 and i remember watching a preview introducing seb and him wanting to win the title. and thats what kept me watching. seb is the reason i love f1 and its gonna be weird without him
Damn Josh. Didn't think I'd cry today but here I am moved to tears and having shivers running down my spine. Seb is an idol for me as a German who was a young child when he started winning. He's my Schumi and I'll eternally miss him on the grid. #dankeseb

10 months later and i’ve finally gotten to watching it. and boy did i sob like i did this time last year. i’ve never sobbed at sport quite like i did at Abu Dhabi 2022. he will forever be my hero, my inspiration and my favourite driver of all time. a legend in every sense of the word. Danke Seb
Josh, this video is a masterpiece, a fantastic statue of one of the best drivers in F1 history. I especially loved the visualization of the Ferrari staff at 22:27. Brilliant!
Holy crap Josh. This video had everything. Good jokes, emotional moments, and amazing storytelling. Even though I haven't been watching Formula 1 for very long, I have felt the effect that Seb has on the paddock, and you perfectly conveyed it in this video. Amazing job dude, keep killing it. #DankeSeb
Wow, I don't often post comments but now I have to. Seb has been my idol in F1 since I was a child, when I get nostalgic I always think back to the purple RB9 with Vettel for some reason. Respect how you pay tribute to him with the video. Sure, he made mistakes and didn't archive the world championship with Ferrari, but he still achieved so much. Danke Seb
I'm really upset I didn't start watching formula 1 earlier. I missed out on seeing Vettel and Kimi live on the track and I really wish I had the opportunity to do that.
Josh, thank you. Sebastian is my favorite driver of all time. And for good reason. I haven't cried in a while. The ending completely broke me because F1 simply won't be the same without him. He will never be forgotten. His legacy is too big to be forgotten. Danke Sebastian.
I got a lump in my throat at the end of the video as I got so emotional. Danke Seb for all those glorious moments on and off the track. You’ll always be a legend of the sport!
Unpopular opinion: i like abu dhabi as the last race FOR THE SOLE REASON that it is a night race, having a night race be the end of the season just gives it a much better send off and feeling of closure to the year and seeing all the interviews and celebrations at night just feels that bit more like a wrap to the year
Incredible video Josh. Seb has been my hero and inspiration since the age of 7 and now at the age of 22 and still a huge fan of his. This reminded me just how incredible he is. The scenes and narration in this video provoke reminiscing about the incredible era that he participated in F1 and that I was lucky enough to grow up watching. Unfortunately the sport will be missing a huge asset next year, but he will always remain my hero. Thank you, this made my day.
My god man, that was such a beautiful video. I started watching F1 in 2021, thanks to drive to survive. I liked him for the way he presented himself in the interviews. Now when I look back, I don't know how I fell in love with that man. His announcement video gutted me. His highlights in the last 2 years excited me. The way the whole paddock payed tribute to him stunned me. If I had been following F1 since you guys have, i probably would have cried watching the video where Alonso held his hand as he was getting ready to race, and telling him "I will take care of you". Thank you so much for this love Letter from a fan to a legend.
The production on this one is amazing! For much of his career I disliked him, I was a huge Webber fan and thought Seb was arrogant for much of his RB run... It was in the years when him and Lewis were competing closely I noticed how much of a good guy he was, while the "fans" of both drivers tore each other apart online, him and Lewis battled hard and had nothing but nice things to say about each other (most of the time) Danke Seb, you will be missed massively by F1, I hope your future endeavours bring about the change this world really needs!
Seb was the most loved driver in India in the early 2010's. He was the king of Indian GP! We will all miss Seb so much, I really hope he comes back in 2025/2026 with Audi. #DankeSeb
My God. Really lost for words on this upload of yours. I always am a Michael Schumacher fan, but I never realized how much "more attached" I am to Sebastian Vettel since I was there watching F1 from the start of his career to the very end. As I do notice his midfield performances and indeed a fan in his Red Bull days, seeing every aspect from the domination, the highs and lows, and every win and loss. All I can say for now is #DankeSeb. It's been a pleasure seeing you race on track.
I started watching F1 in 2008 and Sebastian was the first driver I ever supported. It feels surreal seeing his career come to end, thanks for the memories Seb.
When I was visiting the Singapore for my 9th birthday, my family and I went to the ferris wheel above the circuit, and all I think of was him. Him being the best one there (of course he is, it was 2013). I was not big a fan of F1 when I was at my younger teens. I was a big drifting guy, and F1 was just out of my interests back then, but I occasionally see clips pop up on my youtube recommended, and I basically grew up seeing him in Ferrari. But then 2020 came, pandemic and shit, and also the rise of F1 onto the main mainstream. Of course, I watched it, and I felt BAD. I wanted to see the Scarlets to be on that top step. And then seeing him leave Ferrari genuinely scared me. I thought he'll retire, but then he joined Aston Martin. At that point, people either think he is going to retire or do a Schumacher and build a top team. I myself thought of those two too, but as the time went, it was kinda clear which one is a fact. Then the creation of his IG. I immediately thought that he might just try social media. But there it came. His announcement of his retirement. It was very sad for me to see, since this is probably the first time I see a hero of mine to retire. So him saying that he will be forgotten, I hope he knows that he is also the reason why some of us are now F1 fans.
Really high quality content here Josh, like one of the best drivers ever deserves. Despite it being 42 minutes, it was relaxing and had no unecessary stuff in it. And that goes to say how much Seb has given to the sport.
Josh this was a masterpiece mate a true masterpiece deserving for a champion like seb. Hè Will be missed but somehow i think we will see seb again one way or another

Cried tears... I am 50+ but I was sobbing at this wonderfull video. A tribute to the man I followed and have been a fan of since he first debuted, Who finally showed the aggression on track that Senna had and brought my beloved Jordan team on top of the step. And yes all the spins in the later years had me shouting to the screen as well, I never forget these years with Vettel. And how lucky we are with another Senna/Alonso/Vettel driver in Verstappen. He also is booed at for his arrogance and hard racing. But in 2030 everyone will remember Verstappen as well as we do Vettel.

With the greatest of respect to Josh I think it’s embarrassing that TV studios and the main broadcasts of the sport itself could not even come close to how good a UA-cam video is.
Josh, keep doing what you’re doing, in a sport that keeps embarrassing itself, it’s great to have people like you helping people to continue enjoy it❤
Richard you have a special insight to quality
I absolutely agree with your summation of Josh’s video and what he has produced
What One man alone not a corporate can produce for us to enjoy is marvellous . It’s always quality over quantity, producing worthwhile products and striving for the elusive perfection time and time again
His quality leaves him far ahead of the pack and one would hope that his abilities will be noticed by people who can help drive his ambitions
I had tears in my eyes while whatching this. It was like reliving my childhood. This Video was awesome. All the highs and lows of an exceptional career. Thanks mate for making this masterpiece of video und DANKE SEB
Reliving the time I was a teenager and watched Seb win with Toro Rosso and those 4 titles!
Reliving my kindergarden years when I started watching F1 in 2012
Man seb really became a man of the people. Everyone loved him in the later years.
I still can’t believe Seb’s gone. Remember these times, they won’t last forever.
Danke Seb

I have never been the biggest Seb fan, but watching this made me really emotional.
Great work as always Josh, and Danke Seb, Danke
I have been a seb fan for around 11 years and abu dabi made me shed some tears and the video made me shed some tears as well. I shall never forget this legend
I nearly cried during his interview on the grid after the race in Abu Dhabi. The fact he was allowed to go and do the donuts and interview with the top 3 was so cool. Danke Seb
7:58 "Kubica's crash took him out of commission for a while" is a bit of an overstatement. IIRC he was perfectly fine to race at Indianapolis but BMW didn't want to risk him getting a second concussion so soon after the first one.
I feel honoured to have watched his career start and end
From BMW Sauber at Indy '07 to his final (maybe so far) ace for AMR in Abu Dhabi, it's been a privilege to witness his time in F1
This was nothing short of a legendary video tribute for a legendary driver. Danke Seb! Thanks Josh!
"Ever heard of a half way through the season champion?", Michael Schumacher 2002 season where he won the title in July.
Your ending gave me chills, well put together as always :)
Absolutely brilliant work.
I went from not being a fan of Seb to being a fan. It was great to watch his career.
What a stunning compilation this video is. Had the privilege of meeting Seb a few times when we still had races in Germany. He was always so approachable, always taking the time to exchange a few words despite the crowds of people. Will miss him dearly, not only a special driver, but a special human as well :)
Seb is one of the greatest German drivers of all time. Danke Seb.
#DankeSeb
You will never be forgotten!
Beautiful tribute to one of the greatest drivers to ever grace the sport. I personally loved Seb's villain era. He didn't give a damn and destroyed everyone. After his highest peak, he toned down and is truly a man of class. Thank you for this video Josh. Danke Seb
made me cry in the end of the video, amazing job Josh. Seb was and is one of the legends of F-1 and my hero. #DankeSeb
This is easily Josh’s best video till date which in itself is saying something
My favourite driver alongside Kimi. Supporting Ferrari gave me a lifetime's worth of trauma but I'll forever cherish the moments of sheer brilliance Seb has given us on and off the track. Danke Seb! Seb is a legend and uncontested all-time great of this sport!
Danke Seb. He made so many memories and moments that will never be forgotten. I'll never forget him winning his fourth world title in India. Still remember watching it like it was yesterday.
Did you know that Seb's front wing said "Adios!" a few laps before his infamous Hockenheim shunt? Me neither, until five minutes ago.
I knew that before.
Josh, this video is truly a masterpiece, you have my utmost respect.
#dankeseb
I genuinely did not expect to watch the entire video in one setting.
I thought “oh 40min? I’ll definitely be watching this in parts” but your storytelling is phenomenal. So captivating
Danke Seb
A brilliant tribute to a brilliant racing driver by a brilliant F1 commentator on his brilliant channel. Danke Seb, danke Josh.
Josh, this video is a masterpiece, a fantastic statue of one of the best drivers in F1 history.
I especially loved the visualization of the Ferrari staff at 22:27. Brilliant!
Quick Nick deserved so much more. He holds the record for most podiums without wins in both F1 and FE
1:21 No Jochen Rindt was the first German Champion even when he became Champion posthomues
Rindt drove under an Austrian flag though, Schumacher was the first to win representing Germany
Damn I was not expecting a near 50 minute masterclass documentary on my favorite driver, but so glad you made this. Amazing work and production.
Thank you so much for this love Letter from a fan to a legend.
the guy that really made me get into f1 in the first place ❤
What team did you race for? I don't recognize your name.
@@AndyFromBeaverton ???
I meant he got me interested in f1 😂
The production on this one is amazing! For much of his career I disliked him, I was a huge Webber fan and thought Seb was arrogant for much of his RB run... It was in the years when him and Lewis were competing closely I noticed how much of a good guy he was, while the "fans" of both drivers tore each other apart online, him and Lewis battled hard and had nothing but nice things to say about each other (most of the time)
Danke Seb, you will be missed massively by F1, I hope your future endeavours bring about the change this world really needs!
This was quite the tribute to Seb. Thanks Josh. This vid truly cherishes the man, the legend, Sebastian Vettel.
Beautiful tribute. Thanks for making that video.
Seb was the most loved driver in India in the early 2010's. He was the king of Indian GP! We will all miss Seb so much, I really hope he comes back in 2025/2026 with Audi. #DankeSeb
Imagine if he does
This video was a masterpiece, thanks for putting in the work that a Legend like Seb deserves.
i loved vetttel. i was too young to watch hima t redbull, but i rly enjoyed the ferraritime when i was a child
Danke Seb für die erinnerungen. I will love you forever 💙❤️💚
I started watching F1 in 2008 and Sebastian was the first driver I ever supported. It feels surreal seeing his career come to end, thanks for the memories Seb.
This should be the finale of Drive To Survive Season 2022. Netflix owes you 6 digits.
Simply gripping production, this. Awesome job, brother, I loved every second of it and will watch it again 🌸
Hè Will be missed but somehow i think we will see seb again one way or another
Dude was just the most well-rounded human being i remember getting to know. If i ever pick up and dispose a piece of litter on the floor that’s coloured green, red or blue, i might just tear up. Really want to meet him one day.
It's going to be weird this year not seeing Seb's banter and funny attitude.
Seb was such a joy to watch. I am glad I had the chance to follow and watch his entire Career from start to finish and even get a chance to take a picture with him. It was simply special. Danke Seb.
Record:100% win rate at India.
Still hilariously awesome to me that Toro Rosso had their first win before Red Bull, and Seb had both
Total agree😂Interlagos as final round❤
The voice crack at16:35 💀
Cried tears...
A Josh Revell's 42-min video on Sebastian Vettel is one hell of a way to finish 2022 on a high note!♥
Absolutely brilliant, gotta say your damn good at this! sense of humor is on point.
