Zach Roberts This video of Maldonado is a clear reminder that it is not always the car. Maldonado would have achieved way more in F1 if he wasn't always crashing and getting himself in trouble. Take for example that race in Valencia where he crashed into the side of Hamilton while trying to overtake. A driver with a better race craft would have chosen a better spot to overtake as he was clearly faster than Lewis at that point. When thinking of Pastor I actually have to think of that amazing save while fighting Max Verstappen at Austria 2015 (him moving to the inside on the main straight, Max covering him and Pastor, in trying to avoid running into the back of him, having to catch that car at ~300-310km/h)

Everyone watching this video: YoU dOnT SaY!
18:08, from what I’ve heard, the meaning of number 13 is the complete opposite in Venezuela.
Not really true, as a Venezuelan I can tell you that number 13 means bad luck
I checked, in Venezuela 13 is still one more than 12 and one less than 14.
Two racing drivers I know that are Venezuelan, fast at times and crash a lot
Pastor Maldonado in F1, from 2011-2015 and Ernesto (EJ) Viso in Indycar from 2008-2013
Both ran PDVSA and the #13 in their careers
Josh:what happened to Maldonado
Me:well hope I’m not versing him in F1 2019 ranked
19:59 Both the "Loti"
This made me laugh more than it should
You gpt the time wrong
Err, actually for the plural of Lotus it is acceptable to use Lotuses but the plural of lotus is loti, so as used here - arguably acceptable.
When you're making Romain look like the pinnacle of consistency... I don't necessarily want to say you're doing something wrong, but you're definitely doing something weird
he is consistent at those years, well at least more consistent than maldonado, piquet jr, and bruno senna
He was consistent. Consistently crashing.
Florac lmao
Your cuts are HILARIOUS!! 🤣🤣
Brendon Hartley is very similar to Maldonado. Both had good pace. Consistent driving was Hartley's forte, however, being behind the pecking order with Gasly is always going to make you look behind the pace. Half the accidents that Hartley was involved in were mechanical issues or due to other drivers.
I cried when our Venezuelan anthem sounded in the Spanish grand prix.
"8 wins and 6 podiums" - Josh Revell 2020
he also tryed reenter to F1 or enter on indycar, but his lasts prints at racing was in the endurance championship and in IMSA
I really like your videos. That are long, good edited and very fun to watch. Nice to have these F1 videos that are so so good. Thanks! ☺️
"The vermin.....and the HRTs"
DEAD
Not to mention "The PEASANTS... and the HRTs"
When thinking of Pastor I actually have to think of that amazing save while fighting Max Verstappen at Austria 2015 (him moving to the inside on the main straight, Max covering him and Pastor, in trying to avoid running into the back of him, having to catch that car at ~300-310km/h)
The one and only pastor. Last race winner for williams forever! Truly a Legend ♥️
10:18 so I tried to find the "with the peasants in the HRT" line yesterday without luck, I couldn't remember what video it was from. The fact that I found it today was pure coincidence. This comment is a note for myself.
Just imagine where Williams could've been in 2012 if they'd signed Barrichello and Heidfeld.
*"Someone who's getting way to close to my numbers"*
Me: **instinctively checks sub count**
Also me: **sees Josh is at 69.4k subs, damn I'm proud to be one of them**
69.420k
CAPS LOCK nice.
To be fair, if you play the video backwards, it tells the history of a man who joined the track mid-race, saved some friends from crashing and always made it safely to the end.
The mind blowing thing about all of this is despite being a meme, Maldonado was genuinely quick
Yes. He was the racing driver’s juxtaposition of being both fast and terrible.
Crashos Al pastor was a nickname that should have absolutely caught on
I wish they would bring back Pastor in 2023, just put him on pole in every race and watch the sparks fly... A man can dream.
CONFIRMED:Maldonado joins renault in 2021!!!!
Hamilton just spat out his Seaweed Shake 🏁
Yes
Tbh they really should hire him lmao
Haas, surely?
@@tomhutchins7495 Why would Haas choose Maldonado over Magnussen or Grosjean?
new video:Pastor Maldonado vs Mahaveer Raghunathan the ultimate battle of the goats
plz do ;)
#lordmahaveer
MALDONATOR
*mind explodes*
vs nissany and taki inoue
Well Pastor won a GP and Ragunathan can barely execute a three point Turn so, Maldonado would lap him (given he could keep the car in the track)

"Will power"
What a name, mate!
My view on Pastor was cemented when David Hobbs (US feed) saw him crash & said…
“Oh look… it’s ‘Bad Donald’ in the wall. Again. And again.”
This is the greatest script and editing on UA-cam.
