some nice lookin stickers in that pile. I sticker them well too but an old fella down in New Hampshire who had a sugar shack Never sovered wood he was trying to dry. He didn't mind the thin water gettin in the wood. Rain after rain it slowly helped draw the sap out. As long as you have it piled as you do, it'll dry out before any mold sets in.

Yes sir! Good stuff right there. I can remember back in the day we had a lot stacked and drying to rebuild my daddies house, so anyway, the yellow jackets 🐝 built a huge nest up in the middle of one stack. That was a mess!!

Great.... This is so inspiring. We would have a real problem just hauling that amount of timber in a small inflatable boat... But it's good to see your progress. God bless you out there.

I remember when you stacked that wood. I felt like it was a great idea for the ventilation/wasp look-outs! Have a blessed day Mr. D!

If you have any problems with mildew on green lumber, use a garden sprayer with TSP (located in the paint section of any hardware store) mixed with water. Wet the boards and leave the TSP on. It will kill mildew and help prevent graying, which is also caused by mildew for as long as it is on the boards. Also, copper sulfate works great if you don't mind blue green stained boards (same as pressure treatment). Copper Sulfate is in the plumbing section with the drain cleaner, it is called root stop.
