That's right it's amazing. Many people criticising the watch are traditionalists who can't accept change, late adopters who only get used to the design after it has sold out, trying to influence people to look for something else whole they quietly secure their own piece, trolling the watch so it doesn't get really expensive, Patek haters, have bad taste, or broke and not ready for watch. There will be people who will later change their mind, and others simply not into this style this does not make it a bad watch. Time will tell how it fares in the market and it overall value change.
Good to hear a reviewer keeping an open mind. The piece on the wrist wears nicely, interestingly I think the Platinum piece on strap wears slightly smaller than the bracelet pieces despite being thicker. Took delivery of my 5822P on Monday and am very happy.
It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
The green one is fantastic, really waiting to see more colors and sizes. The bicolor is not for me. The complications one with platinum is ugly with that strap and funny looking placements of the complications. This watch is beautiful on bracelet, the strap is not good looking because of the way the end link makes the case look like a star. The bracelet absorbs the end link and makes the whole fluid and aesthetic.
@@RicardoHawkes honestly, hard to say. So many watches through history were not well received initially. The Daytona for one. That said, it just seems so uninspired. Also, the good people of the internet are not known for practicing restraint. 😂
Yes. Not only is the design derivative of the naultilus, the only reason for it is because it's cheaper to polish & bevel straight lines. This line is for people who don't mind getting constantly mogged by nautilus wearers (maybe they enjoy the humiliation) and getting marked as a rube instantly in any social interaction.
Personally I like the new line. The two tone has a great contrast and I could see myself owning and wearing it.

I tried a Cubitus on yesterday and was offered to purchase one in the near future. I said yes as it wears phenomenally and grew on me as I wore it.

Thanks Russell and congrats on the watch!
99% of people hating on this can't even buy it lol, but yeah it does look like metal casio lol
Make it 35mm, put a different bracelet on it, change the dial texture… then it’s just a bad Santos, but at least a watch worth looking at
Makes the older, non current Pateks look very attractive now.
I do like it when shown on the wrist.
why does the back remind me of bell and ross.
hmmm slightly!
“Bruh what you rockin?”, “I just dropped over $35k on this cubitus.” #dead😂😂
DECUBITUS
Homage to CASIO
like it . The gold and steel is my choice.
They made a Nautilus knock off. Also, the bracelet is just lazy - how to you make the case angular while the bracelet is rounded
Old seiko 5 35 years square same watch

Square watches wear bigger this thing is a cuff
"Oh Kurwa" - Antoni Norbert Patek.
Patek trolling.

Please. Bad Copy of Santos de Cartier… from 100 yrs ago
Screams China!
Do you think this watch deserves all the hate it is getting?

This Venezianico watch looks good.
MAEN clone .Sue them lol
Did you just say Patek Phillip could have been inspired by an ...apple... watch... 🤔🤔 Hmm I'd say a no on that one
@@Watch.Hightower it was sarcasm :)
Not even remotely close to the MoonSwatch release.
why do so many randos put up vids saying the same shit lol, what's the value add
Absolutely horrible
A watch that looks like it designed by committee. “Ugly” is subjective, but it certainly lacks inspiration.
….also it’s ugly. 😊
Thanks for the feedback Doug :)
Huge what exactly? A round movement in a squared overpriced case?
Copy cartier
Super ugly, but I could never pay their prices. Team omega for me🎉
Patek isnt for poppers and normies.
If normies ever do start buying new Pateks it will be a travesty.
A but like Rolex lately.
I still don’t understand why this market exists.
What do you mean Karima?
