This may be kind of hard for you to answer since you're a Naperville native but would you say Naperville is a good place to move to with no prior ties to the area? I guess like a destination move? I could be wrong but I feel like its probably mostly people trying to move out into a suburb from Chicago. I am currently living in NC and seems like a great place to live (albeit dealing with harsh winters lol).
People move to Naperville from all over - I've helped a few dozen families relocate there from out of state and country. Winters aren't too bad and when you want to get away its nice being in the middle of the country with access to two major airports.
