This is the area where Venom makes more sense. At least he is willing to kill Carnage. Sometimes the deed needs to be done, you can't always just leave them alive and hope for the best. Something that has always annoyed me about superheroes refusing to kill. If there is a guy as bad as freaken Carnage, he needs to be put down.

Carnage is, without a doubt, the most terrifying character in the Marvel universe, I used to be scared of Venom because his lust for revenge was scary, but I always knew that he could turn his life around and stop using the Symbiote for revenge, find something else to do, something more appealing
But Carnage, this is all he wants, it doesn’t matter who you are, what you’ve done, the only thing that matters is that you’re alive, and Carnage finds that unacceptable

@@lickenhuntsman5338 Joker IS scary but for a different reason. Both of them are incredibly vicious and sadistic but Joker is a supergenius who manages to outfox even Batman himself and a showman. He would kill a baby but he would also make a sick spectacle out of it for shits and giggles.
Carnage on the other hand isn't really smart nor he cares about style in what he's doing. He does compensate this with lots of power and creativity when using said power. Sure he won't broadcast killing the baby so that everyone in the world sees him doing it. He WOULD however rip said baby to shreds, then do the same thing to baby's parents and strangle the family dog with one of the adult's intestines while laughing maniacally.
In short - Joker is scary because how how smart and devious he is. Carnage is scary because of how powerful and nihilistic he is.

I've always wanted to see Carnage in live action but I'm afraid of two things :
- If the movie is like pg 13 it can be a bit too censored for the wrong reasons
- If the movie is R rated, I'm afraid it will focus too much on the violent aspect. So I don't know
(I know I’m a year early but...) if not animated nor live action then maybe they can make a CGI version?

By this point, no death penalty would work, dude. Do you not know his powers? He's survived a grenade blowing up his head from inside his mouth, regenerated the symbiote when he and Venom took a blast from several generators point-blank, eventually grew his legs back after Sentry ripped him in half and left him in space, and tanked two missiles to the back. Do you seriously think a bullet to the head or the electric chair can put him down if all of that didn't?
No, the answer is it won't kill him, duh. Unless Superman makes his way to the Marvel universe and uses his laser vision to incinerate every cell in Carnage's body, there's no stopping him. Unlike Brock and the Venom symbiote, Cletus and the Carnage symbiote are bonded at the molecular level. They are literally *one and the same* and if Cletus loses the symbiote, he can instantly regenerate it just by cutting himself even by a tiny bit. No, there's nothing the government can do against him.

Still have the 1993 *"Maximum Carnage"* boxed away. Gonna revisit them now because Cletus Cassidy aka Carnage has to be one of the vilest, sickest villains in the Marvel Universe. I'm psyched for this.
I literally just recently realized Cletus Kasady was in the Spectacular Spider-Man show. God someone please pick it up for a third season AT LEAST!
Wouldve been so interesting to see what Carnage could have been on that show and how they would've tackled him and their relationship with Eddie and the symbiote. It could've of even shown Venom's return and team up with Spiderman to take down Carnage, which could've been so cool to witness. There is some great Spectacular Spiderman artwork out there of what Carnage could've looked like on the show, and a fight between Venom, Spiderman and Carnage would've looked like.
