We need more of this guy.. MORE REVIEWS PLEASE
Thank you so much Savage for your awesome review and honestly !!
You're welcome and thank you for the amazing product! Thanks for watching!
for whatever reason, mine was too high to get inside and under the hardtop of my 2-door stock Jeep Willys... I remove the pins at the bottom and that helped get it lower to fit - hoping the weight of top keeps is still connected
I have had my TLP Hardtop Lift for several years now and I must say that it is by far the best tool I have ever bought for my Jeep! I also bought their Store-A-Door Cart! I agree with you on your Review!
Yeah I bought the door cart just haven’t done a review yet
@@sarg492 _ I also bought their Store-A-Door Cart. I reinforced the Center Bar with Brackets, because I did not like the excessive movement when I would put my Drivers Side Doors on it, before I would put on my Passengers Side Doors. The Center Bar would lean real bad. You may understand what I am saying, when you Review it.
Good review. One problem. You described it as a hand brake. It's actually the exact opposite. It's a hand release.
Thanks for clarifying, Chuck. I appreciate the feedback and glad you liked the review!
Thanks man. I didn’t want to knock you but I also didn’t want someone to misinterpret the lever. I think I’m gonna get one of these for my wife’s JK. We’ve been looking at racks. But a rack that also lifts the top is a bonus. Keep up the good work with your reviews. Enjoyed it.
Right on man! Your wife would love the TLP. Thanks for watching and we'll continue to put out more reviews!
Great video, I’m about to buy 1 right now.
Hey Sarg, thanks for the feedback and you can't go wrong by purchasing one of these. Swing by the chat after you've tried it and let me know how you like it. Thanks for watching!
Great review. Very thorough. Thank you for demonstrating how simple it is to put it back on. I’ve only seen videos of the top being removed. This accessory is expensive, but I think it’s worth it. I’ve have my Jeep for 3 years now and I haven’t taken the top off that often because the process is such a pain. But I think I will go ahead and buy this. I want to really enjoy my Jeep.
Thanks Malissa! I'm glad you liked the review! It is expensive, but oh so worth it especially for the older jeep models with heavy tops. Thank you for watching!
Great review ... I am on the fence about buying one, my biggest issue is the tires. For the price I would expect bigger tires that would allow for easy rolling on multiple surfaces and over lips going into the garage.
@Grey Goose 4x4 you're right, because of the tire size it definitely needs some elbow grease to maneuver over multiple surfaces. I have a slanted driveway and a slight curb bump and I'm able to get over it with no trouble. I still recommend it. Thank you for watching!
I’m sold. I’m buying it
Hey Rayneshia, thanks for watching! Glad you liked the video.
Great video! Ordered mine today!
Thanks Joseph! Glad you liked the video and you will absolutely love the TLP! Thanks for watching!
I definitely need this as I don’t have a garage where I can rig a hoist but damn....wayyyy overpriced!
Hey Jim! This product is definitely not cheap, but man does it come in handy when you need it most. I believe it's definitely worth the money. Thanks for watching!
You have got to have this if you have a hardtop
Hey Holly, you got that right! Thanks for watching!
Brother you think I can then roll it with the top on on a little hill ?
I wonder how low it can go for smaller garage clearances
I have a tj that is lifted and on its lowest setting doesn't fit. Hits the top and really hits the rear windshield wiper blade. I would have to jack my jeep up over 4 inches to get the clearance to use this lift. Waste of 800. Assembly was a nightmare.
What about lowering down or even removing the back seat? I had a similar problem and had to buy a new backseat for around $150 because my backseat would not lower down (broken cable), and that is why I couldn't get it in there. I have an 05 with a 4inch lift
Welp, I’m sold!
How hard to assemble?
I'm more worried about getting snake or rodent in my Jeep with top off so I need a quick put back on lol. I should just buy a convertible lol
Going to be getting one online tonight on a Black Friday deal for $700. I don't have anyone at a moment's notice that can help me lift it off and put it back on so I need this!
Absolutely man! Snag a BF deal for sure…it’s worth every penny. Thanks for watching!
@@mikkkkkeeeee1118 Ordered it. It won't come till January but I likely won't need it until about May here in Minnesota lol.
oh hell naawww.... I'm not paying more than 170 for something like that! For that much I can have an electric one custom made! jeez! lol
Hey Luis, haha right on man, to each their own! Thanks for watching!
I have a two door wrangler. The rear seat is right by the swing door. Does it have to be lowered to fit that carriage part in?
Hey TucsonDude, Thanks for watching! I don’t have a 2 door jeep, so I’d assume it has to be lowered in order to fit the TLP correctly. Just lower it initially then pop the seat back up after the top has been removed. Hope this helps.
@@mikkkkkeeeee1118 Thanks! I had an issue of a factory stowed softop preventing access. So, I had to manually remove the hardtop just to get the stowed softop out. I don't think the remover would have worked. Thanks for your reply.
Good review, and because of it I'm buying one TIME-NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I just need hire 2 top boys .. like pool boy but for my top 😂
You running 35 or 33 tires. About to upgrade and love to hear what folks think about their lift and tire experience
Wow you make it look so simple. I really want one especially being a girl needing many hands to take top off. Definitely worth the price. Is there different brands of this ? Or ?
Hey Jeepgrl, thanks for watching! I would absolutely recommend purchasing it, as you saw it was real easy to maneuver. There are different brands like the ExtremeTerrain version and built-in hoist systems etc., but honestly; this is the best one because of mobility and ease of use. Piecing it together took the most time (but not too bad). I hope this works for you, thank you again for watching!
This is probably the best lift on the market and also the most expensive. There is at least one other similar lift that appears to be as good and its $250 less expensive. Other similar lifts I’ve seen are not nearly as simple to operate or the way they store the top.
Hey Larry, I agree 100%. This one is def the best one you can purchase imo. Thanks for watching!
I don’t believe you talk like that 😂
Just ordered one for my new Bronco … looking forward to it!!
Nice Todd, it'll definitely help you out! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for showing what it looks like on the inside!
Of the jeep*
How much?and where from buy?
Hey Rupinderjit, I believe it now goes for $1200 USD, but they usually have it discounted for around $1000 USD. You can purchase it here, topliftpros.com/products/jeep-hardtop-removal-tool
Thanks for watching!
Worth every penny
You got that right Lori, thank you for watching!
Nice job
Thank you for watching, I'm glad you liked the video!
Does it work on a tj?

Product looks amazing. Reviewer is a joke, too much "show" not enough review...
Hey Tim, thanks for watching and for the feedback. I'll try to incorporate more of a "review" in my future videos. The product is definitely amazing. Thanks for watching!
You really need to buy a tripod. I am getting sea sick
