He's still alive!!!!! Thank God, the only Mustang channel worth watching IMO. The rest are all self centered, dooshbag, fuck sticks. Ok I feel better now welcome back and start posting more vids dammit.
Where are you guys located I would love to come and bring you my Foxbody 93 and see what kind of magic it could be done to my car keep up the excellent work . You guys rock
Awesome job man! That color looks like it's Strawberry. I had a '91 GT that was Strawberry on top and Titanium Silver on the bottom. I wanted to have the car painted Strawberry all over but went to a shade tree painter and I got screwed. Dude charged me almost $2,000.00 for a VERY unprofessional job. Had to end up taking the car to the Ford dealership in my town and when they finished, it looked like it had come off of the showroom floor. Had to pay another $3,000.00 but it was worth it.
Thank you for this video...This is very informative. I have a 1988 hatch that my 14yo boy and I are currently sanding down and doing the body work on. It will be his first car when he hits 16. I have a few questions hopefully you might help (or anyone here). 1.) Could you tell us what brand of sealer, paint, and clear you used? 2.) Does the same paint mix work with both the plastic and steel parts?...clear too? (do you mix diff for plastic if you can?) 3.) Did you have trouble attaching LMR side panels? (I finally broke down and peeled off the originals on my 1988 because they were bending up on the ends) 4.) Do you recommend "always" removing the plastic skirt brackets before paint if the previous are in good shape? 5.) Do you have any advice on repair or straightening of the "skirt" kit plastic parts? (can you heat them up to straighten them?) thanks for the video....and I am hoping to get some community help. :)
Nice job, I'll be painting my 96 this month unsure what color however, that viper red you put down on that cobra awhile back I really like what is it and where do you get it.
I have a question n wanting to know other opinions .I have my 98 white mustang cobra in shop n can't make up my mind on paint color should I leave it original white /pearl white or go with brandywine candy? Please any comments will help .Thanks
If you understand how your products work and take these factors into consideration like humidity, temperature and time of day you should be able to lay your paint down and make it flow until it looks like a sheet of glass and no need for wet sanding or buffing. Any body can squirt paint and then cover their ass with wet sanding and buffing after but a true professional will never have to. A lot of old school painters will testify to this.
1. Wet sand with 500 paper 2. Use primer in areas if needed 3. Use sealer on entire car, wait no more than an hour to put bass paint on. (?)How many coats of base paint you put?
What did a job like this cost. I have a foxbody with really rough paint after sitting for 15 years and i would really like to restore it but it just seems really pricey for a decent paint job and i wouldn't want to half-ass the paint job.
“Primer sealer” and “primer filler” is how I’ve always known it to be... both go on before paint, hence the word, “prime”... as in, first or in this case, “before the paint”... Both are primers.
$4k i did almost no body work . car was very very clean and straight. pricing depends on colors, brand paints, sealers, ect. you could have two of the same cars. same colors and year and one car will always need more attention. you just can put prices out on the internet without seeing the car in person or at least detailed photos.
@@tkoresto , Uggg! I'm in Florida, Damit all! I have a 89 GT that needs paint. The one you painted is one of the straightest bodies I've seen! Excellent job. No doubt I'd hire you to do my car. Good luck and keep up the great work.
The quality of work you do is awesome. It's cool to see someone who is just as picky as me about their workmanship.

Crispy paint Bro
Hey quick question. This isnt a Tri-Coat paint right? I didnt think so. My paint distributor is saying he thinks it is.
What did a job like this cost. I have a foxbody with really rough paint after sitting for 15 years and i would really like to restore it but it just seems really pricey for a decent paint job and i wouldn't want to half-ass the paint job.

Hey quick question you don't get lots of trash in a booth like that? Thinking about making one like that. nice paint job!!!
I am painting mine soon, how did you prep the moldings?
Where you guys located? Great work.
Realy nice, you spray just 1 coat of clear ?
Compare 7:43 to 7:50. Why not fix the body damage before painting?
What, did your camera break? 😂 Just kidding...love seeing your work!
it actually did, my screen is cracked and it take a lot longer to auto focus now lol
tko resto are the door molding suppose to be primered & sealed also. Or just paint over them?
How much would a paint job like this cost if you did this yourself or had paid someone to do it?
You should do painting tutorials or paints tips and tricks style videos for guys like me who is broke and have to paint their own mustang.🙂
Man that's slick 😎
About how much to do a paint job on my 99 gt? Laser red w/tinted clear. E9 paint code.
Why didn't you paint engine compartment.

Kohl Patrol $4000-$5000 if the painter is fair..... These $20,000 paint jobs are scams.
Simply the best & by a very honest guy & skilled craftsman....
