I live along the coast of Maine, within a few minutes drive of the US/Canadian border (Campobello Island). My family (both sides) are from Canada (Nova Scotia and PEI) and still have relatives there. I've been planning a trip in my sailboat to St. Pierre (perhaps in 2021 or whenever this Covid thing is behind us). I've been to Newfoundland many times but never to St. Pierre et Miquelon. My French isn't very good though. The last time I was in Paris, they asked me to please stop trying to speak French because they spoke English and I was "ruining their beautiful language!"😁

I've known about these islands since i was a high schooler here in the usa during the late 80s. Ive always searched out obscure places like this out of curiosity. Sadly never been able to get there it looks beautiful. With french culture.
So the girl in your video as co host..is she portugese? Why is she in canada just curious. Thanks
