This looks so easy to make. Plus, I was thinking that you could make these using Christmas fabric and put a gift in them for the holidays. Or you could use non Christmas themed fabric and put a gift in, and just tie your Christmas gift tags to it. There are so many options! Thanks so much, Sherrill…..❤️-Brenda
I finally took your advice, and downloaded the JoAnns app on my phone. I've been going there more often lately. I went with a some family on Saturday, we kinda went a little crazy. But, I did save $81, I ended up paying $97, and that included what my daughter picked out. So it could have been worse. I did pick only fabrics that were on sale, and used several coupons on the app. What a day, it was fun. So now I'm sewing a few new projects, after taking a little break from a slight bug, issues with my hands, and busy with life. Sometimes it's good to take a break to recharge and find new ideas.
Hi Ursula. I'm glad you are feeling better. It sounds like you had a great time shopping. Have a great time sewing projects. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 💗
Cheryl such a cute little bag !! I really like how easy it is to make. So many possibilities of fabrics that can be used. I'm definitely going to be making a few of these Thanks again.
There are so many things you can do with this bag. I was thinking of using spring time fabric and use it as an Easter gift bag instead of a basket. It would be so easy to change the size to fit your needs. Thanks so much for this great idea.
Another winner you did it again just love all of your sewing projects. I have been following you as you show simple and easy projects, and you have calm step-by-step teaching, I have learned so much and I look forward to each and every video to show thank you again
Hi Dawn. You can find the sewing table at many of the sewing machine furniture websites. Glad you liked the mini tote bag tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Sherrill...I love that coral not just on the bag but that is definitely your color too. This is a fun & fast one. I just saw Pellon 808 which was 50% off at Joanne's. I did get a yard but if not mistaken that package had no instruction. I save the tissue instructions when available. Thanks again for a really nice tutorial.
Ms Cheryl ... may I ask a question that I have been struggling with for quite some time now? When I purchase some flat quarter MOST of them are never true square. When I cut them down to square it affects the size of a project. How do I compensate for the size difference in the project? Not for quilting but for specific sizing in projects like bags?
Hi Jan. I didn't install the lights - my son-in-law did, and I'm not sure what kind they are. I think they are LED light strips. Hope this helps. Glad you liked the mini tote bag tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Wanda. I suggest you go to a dealer sewing machine store. The will demonstrate sewing machines that are in your price range. Many dealers also offer a free class on how to use the machine. Hope this helps. Glad you liked the mini tote bag tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Love to make these for friends & family! Using fat quarters and other precuts is my favorite because I hate waiting for staff to cut fabric. ;) How is your fabric folded so nicely on the shelves? Cardboard?
Hi Phxgidget. Yes my fabric is folded on 81/" x 11" cardboard sheets that I purchased from amazon. It is about 1/8" thick. Glad you liked the mini tote bag tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Carlene. I purchase most of my fabric from Joann Fabrics and Crafts. Glad you liked the mini tote bag tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
What is a good needle size to use? It looks almost too heavy for a reg sewing machine. I know with Jean fabric my machine sounds like it a hammer. My guess is my machine can't do anything heavy. Regular fabric no problem. I made a thread catcher with pin cushion attached. My machine was able to do that fine. Maybe I am just seeing correctly. Thanks. Yes I love it.
HI Sh. If you use cotton quilting fabric with a medium weight fusible interfacing. It should be fine. I use a 90/14 sewing machine needle and had no problems. Make sure you change your needle when you hear "thump thump thump." The point of your needle is probably worn down. Hope this helps. Glad you liked the mini tote bag tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
I do love the cute size and the instructions are great, but what I’m wondering is how you do the math to make it bigger, let’s say a whole fat quarter for each the outside and inside liner fabrics. Thanks if you can help me out! 😀
Hi Jane. Place one fat quarter on top of the other. Cut the edges straight. Then continue following the instructions in the tutorial. The only difference is that your fabric is wider than what was demonstrated in the tutorial, but the length of the fabric is still the same. Hope this helps. Glad you liked the mini tote bag tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Wendy. It is about 8" tall and the box bottom is a 4" square. Hope this helps. Glad you liked the mini tote bag tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Linda. I have never seen the magic roll up burrito bag demonstrated. I don't think my tutorial is like that. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

Hi Foxyredsheri. Glad you liked the mini tote bag tutorial. Thanks for watching and happy sewing. 😍
I do love the cute size and the instructions are great, but what I’m wondering is how you do the math to make it bigger, let’s say a whole fat quarter for each the outside and inside liner fabrics. Thanks if you can help me out! 😀
