I freaking love the idea of putting posts into planters. Absolutely brilliant.
Never use glues on fire place, you’ll be inhaling chemicals, use concrete mix. Or none at all the weight of the blocks already hold it down
That's exactly what I was thinking. The weight of the blocks should be more than enough but if you have kids some concrete mix will save you
@@SirPeluza Yes some concrete will help especially if you have kids or pets around. The Glue is mostly for 5ft tall block retaining walls outside. And their are different types of glue adhesives.
There's a type they make that is for outdoor fire pits it's resists heat and don't put out chemicals to inhale or at least that's the claim lol
Was thinking the same thing.. I've had concrete in a caulking tube before but don't think that's what he had
@@Dgafsranger I wouldn't trust it lol
All made with love 🌺 it's beautiful!
You fantastic man!!! I have been trying to find away to string lights exactly how you did for 2 summers. Can’t wait to start this project! Thank you so very kindly.
❤❤
Your commentaries are the best laughs of my day! Thank you,
I love the flowers around the stakes for the lights!!
The dog was so proud of u ❤❤❤
What a fab ideas about putting the posts in concrete and then in bigger pots - fantastic
Love it! I'm doing one and planting citronella all around in a big circle to ward off mosquitos
I really like how your dog was so excited getting ready to congratulate you that you finished it LOL. "You did it!"
LOVE YOU DUDE, SOOO CRAFTY 😊🎉
Love the fire pit. That looks really nice!
Amazing DIY work, amazing enjoy the fruit of your labors❤🔥🪵💨😘
Awesome. I’m gonna build on for my mom soon. This was perfect! Especially with the lights! She would love something like that.
I love the planters idea
cool idea, however the moisture in the soil will rot the posts faster
@mike cedar posts last a lot longer than, say, pine.😊
you are a good man.. how wonderful.. ♥️🔥 what a lovely oasis. she is definitely cherished. Enjoy and keep being this man. i wish I were as cherished except I have to do the walkway etc because I actually look at UA-cam videos and want to learn how lol and get it done.. so many projects and work.. men can be generous if they want to. great job and I like your tutorial. where do you get the thing that runs the lights. super great idea I thought you were going to do solar. nice
You need to let air flow in from the base of the walls to keep your fire going.
Was thinking the exact same thing. He's going to battle to keep that fire alive. And it's going to smoke like a bitch too.
So should he have spaces or gaps in between the bottom blocks?
Would be awesome to landscape all around that really nice
You do everything 😮
Wow u got talent 😎I'm going to do this thank u from Ireland 🇮🇪
Good stuff. Can’t wait to see what’s coming
I just found you and love your commentary! (Your projects are awesome too)!
Love it 😍
Beautiful, and clever solution to power, even though you're stepping up the voltage only to step it down again 😉
Penny reminds me of my late staffy Lola!
So happy to just be close to her humans, and trying everything in her repertoire to get some attentions! 🤣😍
Lola would sit/jump on anything I was working on! 🤣❤️
Good work, mate.
looking good so far! I feel like some kind of planty hedge for partial walls would be neet. you might try something similar to a windowbox, but larger, on the ground, a 3-6' trellis covered in some kind of vining plant. that you can move around as needed. or inground plant if you're ready to solidify, but I think a small, "wall" would add a bit of "enclosure and sense of space" give it a little cozy, but the small sections wont' make it TOO enclosed, it's an outdoor oasis after all.
And then put castor wheels on the bottom of the box planter for easy mobility😉
Thank you 🙏🏽
Lucky you 👍👏🙋
Awesome ❤
Solar lights are helpful. Nice oasis!
Love it
So satisfying 😅 and doggie approved 😆
I like his humor
🔥🔥🔥 idea
Next comes the pool and jacuzzi 😅
Cool 😎💯
Awesome!
I love it.
Love it!
Great ideas! Thanks!
Nice!
Thanks you gave me an ideal !
Lmao commentary on point
Wow
nice!
I love how you use silicone or something to glue those stones together haha must give a real nice sent when the fire burns!!
We have those Italian café string lights too, except ours' has the solar panel, it works in the winter too.
What a sweetheart
Epic
Forgot to leave small spacing in the bottom bricks for air to flow. But it looks awesome!!!
❤
Did you have to use a few sets of string lights or did you find some that long? If so what brand?
You got a Twin Bother with your skill😂😂😂😂😂😂your wife Blessed women 🙌🙌🙌🙌
rick steve’s if you fast forward him lol try it
Does the water beads in a planter help to keep containers more hydrated and help plants ???
I'm addicted to watching these DIY projects, but this guy looks way too young to sound so old! Why does he sound like he's gonna offer the kids a Werther's Original, though?! lol
You can use a spade cut a line in the ground to run lines if you absolutely have to, but honestly I prefer solar
Where did u get the pre cut blocks? Lowe’s and Home Depot has the cheap looking imitation stone. Yours looks better please let me know thx.
no air holes, smokey oasis
Çok güzel yapmışsın. Sıra benim bahçemde 😊
Thanks for thetip for us gods
now they are even gluing stones together
The hands on men they said to marry😂😂 love man❤
you could also use it as a grill, just put a flat steel screen on top of the fireplace, and boom, now you can also cook sausages and corn. or anything else.
What about solar string lights?
I'll be doing a few more projects for this oasis and the inverter will be used for different devices not only for lights :-) I don't want to give the surprise away, so follow us to see what will be next ;-)
My curiosity is peaked. Stay tuned for part 2
I can't even be in by back yard without being eaten by mosquitos
There’s no wife here.
How do you clean it out
Cute. But I agree, needs something more.
What is the bottom of the firepit? Rock, sand, bricks?
U can get solar ones
Your grass looks like mine, in winter mode😢😢😢all spring and summer long💔
I want a husband like you. Brilliant job! I can do it anyway without a husband 🤣🤣🤣
Could have used a cheap solar pad to run them lol
Is the fire ring a necessity?
What sucks about fire pitts, for me anyways, after while, we always have to shovel out ash!
From now one now ordinary Smokey fire pit will be NOT be build by me. Only ones to build is the smokeless one, well worth it.
What is the size of the insert?
Inverter paired with a solar panel would be Op asf
Where did you get the fire cover?
Posts are going to rot
Looks nice tho
I follow
Solar Led string lights....youre welcome!
They make the same thing in solar lights so there was absolutely no reason to run it from a battery just by solar lights
Why not use solar light?
a thermoelectric generator would be cool for something like this.
Bury a pvc pipe with your extension cord it’s not expo I got one 300 foot
Do you know what the definition of pit is?
Why did you glue it, you don't need to do that with brick and it makes it easy to relocate or clean it later
If your current wife ever cheated on you and ask for a divorce just leave her and enjoy your castle. You built a superb comfortable facility for yourself basically and her was just there to enjoy it with you. If she's ungrateful then you deserve the so MUCH BETTER one. She doesn't deserve you. That's only if she's EVER broke the vows and the holy patrimony of your marriage.
Make a roof so it's like a gazebo
What's the deal with the convetor for the lights, please?
Inverter - converts one type of power to another.
Not sure that glue is going to be effective because the stone will heat up and melt it.
❤❤❤😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
isn't there lights like that with solar panels? seems easier and cheaper than that
I aspire to be a God. How high can I safely stack my stone blocks? The last thing I want is an ungodly collapse.
A hart 20 volt what.😊
inverter
Those posts need vines
