I bought a Mckillans and a MTM I liked the Mckillans more and kept it. I am pretty happy with it. I just use it on my cars, dirtbikes, and around the house stuff. Love the videos. I bought the Karcher you recommended and I really like it. Thanks
McKillians advertises themselves sort of as “as good as it gets” so I was surprised to learn about better guns and where they can improve on. Definitely gonna try the 1st gun
I have the McKillans rn, ive been really enjoying it, definetely would recommend for someone starting out wassup bro, just starting watching ur videos just recently, keep up the good content man🔥👍👍👍
I would also Recommend the Active short gun into the mix. I had both the Active and the Mckillans, I ended up keeping the active because the price was only a bit more and build quality was way better in my opinion.
The Mosmatic live swivel is unbeatable. I have it and it’s so enjoyable to use. No hand fatigue whatsoever with the trigger either 👌🏻I do make sure that it never touches the ground though, want to keep it looking its best even though we know it can take it.
People put a little too much emphasis on these swivels and how “smooth” it needs to be. It would make sense if we had 5yr olds working for us and using the pw gun. 🤷♂️
Just got the OG spec and idk how I can go back, I have all three of these guns and the OG fit and finish is great, the swivel works well, and the fatigue I get from using it is minimal. One thing to mention on the Mckillians is their customer service is great. My gun started leaking and I emailed them and they responded quickly, offered up a solution and even offered to replace it if that didn't work. I think all 3 serve a purpose in my arsenal so you can't go wrong
OG spec is the only way to go. People will point fingers and say it’s overpriced, but until you use one, you just won’t get it. Also, where the OG spec gun is concerned, I don’t think it’s for the regular weekend warrior. It’s for high volume shops or someone who absolutely wants the best of the best and has major OCD. I however, have major OCD and love the smooth operation of the Mosmatic fittings and swivel.
When will this be released? Just ordered yours that's currently out for $50 as part of a bundle with the wand and brass quick connects for $135 total. Thanks for the review, it helped. I'll stick to brass, if works well who cares what color!
the swivel on the mtm isn’t as good and that’s the only reason I didn’t like it. Ended up giving it to a friend and just use the Og spec gun now by Mosmatic. It’s heavier but feels heavy duty and the quality is also better along with a good working swivel.
@@YuriTarded-hf1nv not on my mtm it almost seemed like it wasn’t working. I did like the gun though as it’s light but the swivel wasn’t doing it for me.
@@Jonathan-pr1wo you should have contacted mtm and tried to see if they would replace it or swap it out for you for a new one? Not sure what warranty coverage is on the gun but from what I hear they are easy to work eith

@@hugotube86 yes it will fit. You could swap it out for a stainless steel one. They are pretty cheap. Check here for them www.hawaiidetailing.com/portable-pressurewasher
thank you for an awesome video! been subscribed to you for a year and you've helped me so much with car detailing questions and pressure washer. just has a question what tip are you using for your pressure gun? it looks adjustable and would like to get one for my self.
Hey Jeremy, I've always wondered, won't the electricity pass through the plunger pump and give someone a shock if they accidentally touch it? My 14-year-old Karcher domestic K3.550 just broke, and I want to upgrade to a plunger pump with a good flow rate and pressure that are not encased in plastic and a part of its brass triplex plunger is exposed. But I'm worried about getting an electric shock if I accidentally touch it without turning off the power switch on the motor to remove the inlet and outlet water pipes from the brass plunger. Can you help me understand this? For example, the Karcher HD511 cage classic doesn't come with a 3-pin plug, so technically there's no ground. Is it still safe to hold the cage and move it around when there is power running through the machine ? I also saw your video on the best portable PWs, and there was a naked PW like Kranzle. Doesn't that pose an electric shock threat? I would really appreciate it if you could make a video on the best safety practices to follow to avoid life-threatening situations while using a pressure washer. Many of us don't realize how careful we need to be around pressure washers and how to use them safely.
That’s where the money is. If you are swapping to nice fittings you might as well get the better kit that already comes with them. This is definitely a get what you pay for tool. Thanks for watching
Crazy but kind of car related. What brand of shorts do you wear in general? They seem to be great for detailing and washing. And decently stretchy for cleaning wheels. And just not even vehicles but good everyday shorts.
Yeah. It’s the cheapest option that is usable but definitely not a goto brand for those people that can afford better. Here are my suggestions based on each persons budget. www.hawaiidetailing.com/pressure-washer-short-guns
