    I just bought the new Harbor Freight stubbly wand and it is identical to the red Ridge in your video. Built in swivel, comes with SS adaptors if you need them and has the trigger lock. It is currently $24.99 and HF. Oh, and it’s blue to match the Uber flex hose. 😊

    Just starting my detailing journey and getting all of my supplies and everything. This is very helpful. I hope you see this comment. I’m having the hardest time picking an all around soap for basic car washing. Don’t want a crap product but also don’t want the most expensive. Want something decently priced that foams and cleans well. 110% trust your opinions.

      I really like the Koch chemie line of soaps, they are a little prices but highly dilutable and work really well! If you go with active foam its a 9.5 ph so you get a bit more cleaning power and it’s smells fantastic! All of my customers always comment on it. But if you’re just starting out even something like meguiars gold class will do well for you! And it’s cheap and available everywhere

    Something to mention with the lower GPM guns is that some pressure washers like Karcher in the UK will suffer from over pressure pulsing if the gun can’t handle the pressure that the machine can push out, seems like nothing to worry about but this can reduce the life of the machine

  • @mlhm5
    @mlhm5 Рік тому

    IMO, if you are going to house/roof wash then residential houses all you need is a cheap battery operated softflow system (pump, hose, propoitioner to begin with. As you get into larger structures or commercial then it is time to move to an air diaphragm pump and an air compressor or a gas soft wash pump like the AR45 Soft Wash Pump + a Honda engine. The only gun to use with these systems is the General Pump YG1635SR. You are not going to get much distance with a 5.5 gpm 12v softwash pump and you will probably go thru 2-3 a season. You will need two 12v batteries plus a proportioner for soft wash. This is a market filled with competitors and entry is very easy and cheap.
    I would specialize in flat concrete service stations, dumpster pads, bank drive through, fast food drive through and any other place where it gets really greasy oily. You need a hot water high gpm machine and a surface cleaner. Now you are not competing in the house/roof/driveway softwash market which is really overcrowded.
