Both games were mostly inspired by Bram Stoker an Irish author who wrote such masterpieces as Dracula, The Lair of the White Worm, The Lady of the Shroud, Lady Athlyne etc. Not sure who came up with the whole artistic look first in visual media but the movie Van Helsing even though it isn't very good the movie has a great gothic visual look to it which will remind you of a lot of Bloodborne you'll also find a lot of elements in Warhammer Empire faction.

This is the most hyped I’ve been for a game in a long long time. Horror is easily my favourite genre and I feel like it’s been ages since we had a big AAA horror release. I’m so excited to get this.

I’m sure on harder difficulty levels it could be pretty challenging as there’s quite a lot more combat against groups of enemies and even more mini bosses compared to RE7.
Leon was in 6, he will be back with claire in Infinite Darkness. Calm down. The franchise won't end until we get a " proper " sendoff for all these characters. Remember that Ada is still a GIANT loose canon. Remember that Natalia Korda is still " possessed " by Alex Wesker ( or something to that extent, it's not clear ) and she's living with the Burtons. Jill is completely MIA ... And we don't know what Sherry and Jake are up to. The franchise still has a lot to deal with, which makes me wonder why they decided to focus the plot on a totally different and new character. Chris, Leon, Jill, Barry ... they are approching their fifties. They're not gonna keep up the fight much longer. I'm totally expecting the " final " game in the series to be a bit like RE6 and regroup everyone for one final gigantic battle to stop all the BOW madness. Like, an " avengers endgame " type thing.

my theory is that Mother Miranda might be inspired with the Triple Goddess deity hence the worship (three distinct figures united in one being) like Hecate which is known for her Maiden, Mother, and Crone state which could be the case for the theories as of now like Maiden (Fake Mia), Mother (Mother Miranda), and Crone (the old lady on the trailers)

Capcom, I just wanna say a big thank you for this game franchise, also for the computer animated movies, and that's basically it.
When I saw this trailer for the first time, I didn't believe it was a resident evil game.
I believe after surviving RE7 and this, Ethan will turn into some sort of budget Doom Slayer. Like how did Chris not offer to train him as a potential S.T.A.R.S candidate? This guy obviously has a knack for surviving.
Watching this after knowing the ending hits different.
