IDK, it makes me feel like a nice person when I carry a group of them through a HAT. Sometimes it's fun to just dodge around on a weak ish monster, then murder it in the last 20 seconds. KD is a nope... especially not 8s.
An advice for European players, try to play in the morning and afternoon until the 3 pm in order to play along with Asian players. I usually find stronger players in that period of time.
It doesnt really matter honestly. If your group is weak just back out. You cant control what players you get in the lobby no matter how much you try to jip the system.

The Legend of Dragoons boss fight theme this time, wow 100 slain, how much time you spend a day for hunting? And how much ultra hunting tickets you use already? 😮 what a great achievement 👏🏻, me just 38 slain. I'm totally noob because i just started this game less than 3 weeks, a silly question from me if you don't mind, our palico can track a monster of our choices but I can't choose zinogre, should i at least earn zinogre's medal (50 times slain) first before my palico can track it? I bow my head to you. That's not a silly question at all! It can totally be confusing haha. Unfortunately, our medals don't effect what we can track. You have to unlock the monster from the story first and you can't track any final boss monster (Deviljho, Zinogre, Kush) or subspecies (Black Diablos, Pink Rathian, etc.) You can also only track whats available event wise and whats on the field during the season. Its kinda confusing and I wish they would put out a list of whats trackable per event.

Not impressive at all, it just happened that my home is located near few picking spots, also I need to walk a lot since it's quite dangerous playing while driving at the same time, I'm already exhausted to be honest, this is just one of many elder dragons 😑, I'm a dual blades user, in mh rise sunbreak kushala's dual blades is the strongest ice element dual blades if I'm correct, also the look at the design of the dual blades looks so cool 😎, all weapons can turned out to be strong too depending on the user 😂 Oh I see, so the current final boss monsters can't be tracked, there are still tons of monsters will join in like lagiacrus, agnaktor, nargacuga, gammoth etc (just my opinion), I think I won't need to walk a lot anymore in the future because the current final boss monsters will be normal monsters in the near future, I hunt kushala as many as possible because counting on so many elder dragons in mh games, I don't think I will be able to met kushala again in the near future, also I think chameleos, teostra, amatsu, alatreon will join soon. 😂 Can't wait till one day that you released a new video with a title fatalis 100 slain, that will be thunderous⚡(hopefully fatalis make its debut in this game) 😊
Rising tide is OKAY but its not going to do as much as elemental in the long run in most scenarios. Especially at 150% Rising Tide and Burst only packs up your raw damage.
Do I really need windproof+frostwind against Kushala with a bow as well or is WP3+FW1 necessary for melee weapons only? Seems to me better investing in Focus+Burst.
Dude Himble Pie please! But I'm here to defend you. The ranged nerfs that happed during late 2023 did 2 things. It made dedicated ranged players better at the game overall. We get punished super hard if not hitting a critical point or not at proper range. It also made ranged weapons harder to pick up. They feel worthless during "tryouts". LBG without R3/R3 or Bow without focus and range/critical point understanding feels pretty bad. I love all this Huff and Puff about Weakness Exploit builds only to watch most players just dodge accordingly and hit monsters when and where-ever they can. So here I am. The "get gud" guy. Good news is the Kushala ranged weapons are amazing "gateway" arms.
Haha appreciate you! I don't expect people to be good right away or be experts and yeah ranged weapons take A LOT more skill now than it did before. But I will damn sure never advocate for laziness and have people accountable for trying to pretend like their experts when their not especially with dritsmelting. People trying to pretend like they spend hella money on the game or have hella experience when they don't its sad lol.
Poison is much better. Even if you proc it once you’ll do a lot of damage. Kushala also has strong resistance to sleep and paralysis so never use those 2 status elements it’ll be hell.
Do you prefer the zino lbg or the zino bow? I have my bow to 8.1 but I feel like zino lbg fires fast and hits more then the bow (I haven’t crafted it yet but just seen clips of it)
The LBG with the recent LBG buff is nuts. The problem with Zin bow is that it’s a charge 4 damage 4 type so it isn’t a super weapon. Kushala even blocks your 2nd power shot volley. I’m loving the Max LBG and glad I went for it haha.
Yeah that ammo type is just too good to pass up. You can safely engage at farther ranges and it just looks hella cool lol. But if you have the 10-5 gun it’s alright to wait. The next elders will probable have some really good weapons.
Nerfing Kushala would actually be a good idea. More players can enjoy the raid, less frustration and backout. Backout and people leaving has become major problem.
I couldn't have made a better guide. I usually skip all the lobbies with melee weapons and those who don't use bows or light crossbows. I still haven't figured out how these players think they can beat the monster just by chasing it all over the area!

The only reason I make fun of LBG, and bow users is because they're OP... I have used basically everything at this point, and bow/LBG are DEFINITELY OP. Kushala is a prime example. At least with bow the DPS is less, but LBG is just ridiculous. My G7.5 rath LBG has no problem destroying G8s. My G9.2 diablos hammer struggles with G7 Azure rathalos...
The super weapon bows will take over the LBG that’s how dominant they are even without the elemental bonus. Then again the original status was 100% for thunder and then it got adjusted to 150% along with dragon. LBG and Bow are OP but you still have to be mechanically good with them. If you can’t full aim or maintain range/reset aim then they’ll just shoot thin air lol.
It really is. I used a ton of potions till I got used to it and even then theres always a margin for error so can't wait to be done with getting the 10.5 for Kushala.
*sigh*…I have a 9.5 grade Zinogre SnS and a 8.5 grade Zinogre LBG…kind of wishing those grades are switched at the moment!😅 (SnS is great against Deviljho…but not so much against Kushala wind!😛) Another 5 HAT Zinogre event please!😉🤣
I dont really think you need deplete 75% of his hp on the head to break his horns, i usually managed to break it as melee LS after i managed to get 2 iai / helmbreaker at head during phase 2 (which is hard because i need to have kushala doing his ranged beam or sweep to perfectly iai on his head). In phase 1 its pretty easy to deal damage on his head because how easy to know its patterns. The problem is his head is pretty small so to helmbrraker his head u need to do the thrust from sides or front since damage on his neck doesnt count on partbreaking
It really is 75%. Theres no horns. Just its head. But you have to have all of most of your team mates on the same page. It really is hard and not worth sweating over unless you know your gonna break it. I've done so many that within Phase 1 I can already tell if we are gonna break it or not.
Getting to the point where I want to dodge any lobby (hat or KD) where someone insta-locks with raw GL. Love my pickle GL but like c'mon guys.

I prefer deviljho lbg because the rising tide really boost the dmg. Burst + rising tide really best combo for long battle like kushala.

You are correct! If you’re using ranged weapon you don’t need it at all. Full DPS is the way.

I just played one month so I figured out to support by using paralyzing him. But I'm useless in second stage :(.
