One day after I videotaped a picket of Scientology, my neighborhood was covered with leaflets smearing me. Shortly after, two Scientologists showed up at my home to picket me.
These scientologists are INCREDIBLE. They ALWAYS contradict themselves, it never fails. First let's establish that both scientologists are strangers to Mark bc he has to ask for both of their names. Following that premise, the ONLY info the scientologists have on Mark is what their "church" told them: name, address, and that he's critical toward Scientology...GUARANTEED. These moron scientologists start asking Mark about their "church" then they both proceed to tell Mark he doesn't know anything about what he's criticizing. These Scientology idiots contradict themselves without even realizing it and they do so with a straight face like they just made the best, most legit and sensible argument in the entire world. Alright.... If it's your opinion that someone doesn't know anything about what they're criticizing, expressing that opinion while you're holding a sign that criticizes the character of a complete stranger, someone you know absolutely nothing about, probably isn't the best time. Just saying.

Moving to a new area. It would obviously be completely impossible to ever enforce this (even more so since the police in all the areas where Scientology are based are corrupt and take bribes/payments from the church) because there would be no way of proving the person knew you fit into one of these categories when they approached you even though you sure as hell know they do. But I stand with what I said that recruiting people when they are at their lowest should be a crime. It is emotional manipulation of the highest caliber and even the smartest people in the world fall for it if you catch them at their worst/most hopeless because they would be willing to try ANYTHING to turn their life around and before they know it, they are up to their necks in a cult that they can't leave! Good times huh? The world is fucked gentlemen. At least you can have a decent conversation about it once and a while as our ship slowly sinks...

This is one of my favorite Scientology videos because Mark does such a phenomenal job of articulating his case rationally and calmly, with a compassionate overtone. I can tell the protester was struggling to process what he was hearing, and it's heartbreaking that he was so programmed that he had to weigh the evidence Mark was giving against his personal loyalties to the cult. Hi from Dublin Ireland. Scientology has now opened up a church here in Dublin. Already there are law suites against them. One ex-member is taking them to court, they gave their houre to the church of scientology and now they want it Back! Scientology here now wants to register as a charity, if they get this status, they won't have to pay any tax!

I love how Mark bombards them with facts and gives them a chance to debate the facts and all they say is you're wrong and never make a point. Aren't they supposed to take communcation courses? Don't think they are working.
This is one of my favorite Scientology videos because Mark does such a phenomenal job of articulating his case rationally and calmly, with a compassionate overtone. I can tell the protester was struggling to process what he was hearing, and it's heartbreaking that he was so programmed that he had to weigh the evidence Mark was giving against his personal loyalties to the cult.
I truly hope that guy got out.

Thanks man, very educating stuff. I really like the way you handled the situation, very fairly and very coherently. I was looking to understand more of what scientologists believe, and this proved very insightful.

Hi from Dublin Ireland. Scientology has now opened up a church here in Dublin. Already there are law suites against them. One ex-member is taking them to court, they gave their houre to the church of scientology and now they want it Back! Scientology here now wants to register as a charity, if they get this status, they won't have to pay any tax!
