Those four men are also still alive as of now. And they had some powerful songs in 1984 like Born in the USA, Footloose, Oh Sherrie, and Out of Touch. 1980's was one of the best decades in music. Michael Jackson who left us on June 25, 2009 was wearing dark sunglasses during We are the World, but so was Stevie Wonder, because he was blind since birth. Michael, Diana and Bruce can't miss.
This is what we, musicians, call just jamming out. But i must say if I were there.... I've had been crying just seeing the masters of this universe.
My god it was amazing to watch all my favorite singers in one room working rehearsing together this is truly historical that's why the 80s was the greatest musical time of all for the music the artist for what they sang about the messages and inspirations of hope they gave to us all what they did here they never did it again not in the 90s or after that why I say the 80s was the greatest time for music just look at them in 1 room together and that shows everyone that yes they can work together and get along doing what they did best write sing and perform such an incredible thing of musical beauty to watch it makes me smile everytime I see this rehearsal video and the actual video of this great song 😊
Oh Lord! How I love almost all these voices!
There was a sign at the door that said, check your ego at the door😂😂 see the young fans I’ve got to remember so many of these artists were so big during this time. Bruce Springsteen’s album born in the USA was a huge success going like 15x platinum during this time.
The most powerful artists who left the whole musical world behind! We can only look after and learn ❤🔥🎸
I ❤ This group of singers comming together for people that needed it. Great message!!
Most 80s thing ever- and Dianna Ross and Cyndi Lauper killed it.
Cyndi Lauper was utterly superb.
Agreed - when Cyndi comes in, how do you not get the chills. Almost 40 years later, still does it for me.
And who is the guy after Willy?
Cyndi is so cute with her accent. “There’s people taulkin” 😂
Al Jarreau (sang After All [I will be the one to hold you in my arms]) @@Belfastboi
I love how Bruce always gave 110% in each retake
Michael Jackson is best part 🤩
