tip: when you manage to unlock the big doors at the end, DO NOT hack into the machine with the shield and kill it before it sees you. This will glitch the end of the quest- the tablet in front of the dead forest king will become unreadable and no cutscene will occur, so you'll be forced to go back into the previous room to respawn the shielded enemy and kill it properly. Learned this the hard way, was scouring around aimlessly at the end for a good half hour.

Push R1 and X at the same time to do the dash jump, and after that while still in the air quickly push X and ◻ at the same time up to 4 times to jump even further
this can also be used to get to the quest marker near the city ruins center on top of a building, if you jump from the rectangle water tower you can make the jump it may take a couple of tries but it can be done. The quest is called Robo Dojo and the quest giver is father servo, i hope this helps
PSA: For those that can't make the jump at 3:53 , don't jump from the broken bridge on the right. Instead jump from the one on the left, then press X, reverse to face the broken bridge below and press R1.

Man that"s one thing i really love about this game: Bare minimum hand holding, that mid air dash that you use at 1:45 i never would have known it existed. Reminds me of dark souls and the dagger dash thing that lets you move through water and swamp areas faster, love it. thanks for the guide my good sir.

Its kinda hard but you also just double jump and dash mid air from the right platform then hold the pod to glide there or you can also just drop from the left platform and dash towards the left mid air. Either way it’s possible to go there but if you fail you have to go back up again which is a pain lmao

So, my jump is space, and my standard attack for the pod is shift. So I press shift and space at the same time. For a controller, from what I've gathered, it's R1 and X.
You just need to hold the direction (right) and do double jump. If the ledge is close enough, the character will grab on to the edge and climb up automatically
