    I have nothing but respect for Daniel , I messaged him randomly asking if my mounts were good enough to make it a full time thing . Nothing but positive transparent answers and advice . Great video , judges don’t put food on your table or gas in your hunting truck .

    I’m a taxidermist. I went to school for it. I’ve been watching you for 8 months. I have already started doing some things the way you do it!!! I like to learn different techniques. Thank you Daniel!!! Keep teaching. Love the bob ross references because you nailed it in your explanation!!

    Hey man, I am a taxidermist out of ga. Try using liquid nails project's as glue. For everything ear liners and all. It was a game changer for me. Almost zero baby sitting compared to pro1. Also 2 dollars a tube.

    I'm a "self taught" also. I opened my shop in 2003 and still to this day I'll try something different some with success and some not so good. But make it look great and your client will love your work.

    Where do you draw the line between commercial work and competition?it's seams like some taxidermist wanna do all competition work....how do they have the time with a average of maybe 100 deer heads ...you see where I'm going going with this?

    • @thecedarridgechronicles
      @thecedarridgechronicles  6 місяців тому +1

      I know guys that don’t draw a line and I think that’s the problem. Some guys just take in a few a year and do several competitions, but I know guys 3 years behind on heads that do competition work that have some really pissed off clients. It’s bad for their reputation and business but they don’t seem to care

    Self taught here also. Before there was ever youtube. I taxied for 25 plus years. Gave it up for over 25 years and I'm back at it a few months now
    I'm getting work and it's all because of the rep I had as the taxi I had become so long ago. I was concerned I would need to teach myself the decipline needed to get good work out there. But here's a bit of truth. The first deer I did getting back into this was the best work i had ever done on a whitetail mount. I'm looking at this recent work and amazed at myself. Don't know if it's because I have more patience or what it is but I was 30 years old back then. Now I'm 65 and I guess you become wiser at things you love doing when you mature. I owe you abit of thanks also. I've been studying your abilities as a taxi and things I've learned from you have taken my work to another level I never attained many years ago. Thanks daniel

    I love what your showing here, and one day I’ll work up the nerves to mount my own deer. I come from a meat cutter background like you did.(about 25 years)…..There’s more than one way to do anything! Pay no attention to the naysayers!💪👍

    I just finished my first deer last week going almost strictly off of your videos from start to finish, and thanks to your helpful videos and clear way of explaining things, it went much smoother than I expected it to. Keep up the awesome videos!
