It's not true only the US provided "M240". Canada (a domestic licenced made version of the FN MAG, like the US counterpart M240; it's military designation was the C6 when entered in service, being the most upgraded version the C6A1 Flex) and Belgium (the country where belgian FN Herstal developed the widespread FN MAG - used by more than 80 countries) also provided the "original" version of the gun, FN MAG, to Ukrainian forces; can't recall which gave first, still is not correct to state only the US provided versions of the FN MAG. I believe also some L7A1 (british under licence domestic version of the FN MAG) were also provided by the UK, but as I'm not totaly sure of my sources here I won't consider it - Still Canada and Belgium at least. Almost forgot, also the sweden licenced version of the FN MAG, the KSP-58, is also being used by ukrainian armed forces.
