1990 928 S4 with Stage 3 Supercharger for sale

Super clean 1990 928 S4 on eBay for sale. Let me know if you have questions.
The good: This 1990 Porsche 928S4, Linen-Grey Metallic exterior, with dark blue interior, has only 62,300 miles. Interior is near perfect - no rips, cracks, or warping of any interior panels. All paint appears to be original factory paint. The 5.0l v8 engine has a Stage 3 Murf Supercharger that made 500 WHP when originally tuned (I was there), but then was detuned to 475 WHP for longevity and drivability. This car is FAST! I've known this car for 10 years, and bought it from a friend about a year ago. Of all the 928s I have owned (10+) over the past 20 years, this is the nicest and cleanest one I have ever had. Since I owned it, I have charged the AC system (blows cold which is rare for a 928), fixed the AC relay in the head unit, replaced high-capacity fuel pump (Bosch 044), cleaned and replaced all injectors, new spark plugs, and serviced PSD (limited slip differential actuator) with fresh fluid.
As nice as this car is, I want to fully disclose the appearance items I am aware of for this 1990 928S4.
1) There are a couple of small paint chips on the front bumper and lower valance, otherwise paint is in great shape and has been professionally ceramic coated.
2).There is a small quarter-size paint bubble on the passenger aluminum door,
3) Lower passenger rear speaker grill surround is missing (grill is there, but the trim ring is gone), and driver side is cracked (common issue),
4) one of the original factory wrenches in the tool kit is missing (12-13mm),
5) some paint flaked off around the drive-side rear-wheel center cap.
6) some of the stitching on the leather steering wheel has come off - I think some time with needle and thread would fix this as the leather appears to still be in-tact (not torn) - I may try to address this myself - time permitting
7). Vinyl on upper door panels is coming loose and should be re-glued.
Mechanical items you might want to know:
1). The timing belt is in good condition, but should be serviced in the next ~2 years due to age.
2.) It appears the timing belt tensioner is weeping oil - not leaking, just weeping - otherwise the engine is dry
3.) Tires are Perellis from '09 and have lots of tread, but should be replaced due to age
4). Wheels are aftermarket Cup 1 replicas - I do not have the original wheels.
5). Brakes have tons of pad left (~75%) and rotors are all in good shape
6). Car has a rear muffler bypass 'test pipe', and appears to have resonators from a 928 GT (smaller) so it sounds awesome, but still retains original Catalytic converters - so it should pass smog tests if you have those - we do not have that requirement here in Michigan.
7) Car has both factory belly pans - RARE!, but front plastic one has some minor cracks as would be expected
8) Transmission shifts smoothly between all gears and without flare on the 2-3 shift
9). Car has after-market radio (w/ bluetooth) and a 600W multi-channel amp occupies the rear spare-tire well.
10.) I only have one key for it, but at least it is the longer 'alarm' key - additional keys can be ordered out of Australia via photo.
Car is located in Canton, Michigan, near Detroit Metro airport (DTW). I drove this car to NC and back earlier this year for the annual Sharks in the Mountains event, and I would not hesitate flying in and driving it home.

I have this same car. Had it since new, never sold it or trade it because I live it so much. My son gave it an update this year and is now his.
what a mega car!!! im a huge transaxle fan and a blower is the best thing to do to that car. it had everything except enough power. awesome. i wish i could buy it but i hope the next owner is half the steward you are to this car if so than it will continue its legacy. hope to see its replacement( maybe a....RUF). chees my friend and thank you for giving us a look and driving it like good pcar lovers do.

Great and beautiful car! .. That acceleration burst is being hurt badly by the slow shifting trans. Too bad Porsche decided to fit it with the Mercedes S class 722.3 transmission which so sluggish and slow-shifting, more suited for luxury sedans than a Porsche sport/GT coupe. but on the bright side its bullitt- proof and can handle at least 700-800 hp with no issues!
Simply mouthwatering your Vortexed S4! Sounds perfect too, a deep V8 burble without sounding like a nascar. One tiny remark: at 9:55 your right foot was too heavy for a cold engine...
Yep, agreed! even when its guage say its at operating temp, I'd still drive just a bit longer b4 goosing it.. dude here did it wayy too soon...even though a coolant guage says its at temp, the oil and other internals are not quite there and need alittle more time.

62304 miles. With the supercharger it will reach 62305, before having to redo the engine...
And the transmissione will last at least until 62400 miles.

I love the car. I have actually owned four 928s: an S4 and three GTSs.
They all used to drink lots of oil, when driven hard, and needed expensive maintenance. I still have a 1995, manual, silver GTS in my collection. I live in Europe and I push my cars to their limit.
I honestly wouldn't recommend driving a 928, with an aftermarket supercharger added to it, at full throttle for a long journey, as would be the case in Germany. The car wouldn't last long. But if you're simply going to drive it around in the US, at US legal speeds, there shouldn't be any problem with the engine, at least provided you don't rev it to 6000 rpm continuously.
