I just got this keyboard and loved it so much.
Just a spoiler alert here, make sure that you own your environment because it's noisy and the keys sound is nice but loud.

A gaming keyboard is meant for two reasons . Number one : Typing. If you are stuck with a cheap membrane keyboard and you are pretty fast with it but wanna type even faster, buy a mechanical keyboard. Number two: Gaming. Obviously gaming would be apart of it because what do you expect. It boosts your skills , helps you know where all of the keys are when it glows colours and very fast response time when you want to press a key where your hotkey is. I suggest that you only buy it for these 2 reasons. Do not say everybody knows this because some people do not. I am just trying to help them know.
Peripherals do not simply boost skills, that takes time. You don't need a mechanical keyboard unless you want RGB and longer lasting clicks. Simply most keyboards have a universal layout meaning, having a mechanical keyboard will not differentiate how you press keys and where you press keys unless they are lighter to press.
Completely wrong you buy a gaming keyboard for response time which should be 1ms and anti ghosting, also it does affect how you press the keys depending on the actuation weight of the switches, and RGB is purely aesthetic if you have to look at your keyboard to type or press keys your already doin it wrong.

motospeed really makes some good stuff. i want to grab one of their keypads for osu on the go, but i don't think my parents would approve of me buying a 30 buck numpad.

@@sheepherd2210 its kinda true, they lose the click after a while. They stop registering after a long time. I'd prefer the old Razer greens over these outemus.
@SepticHP Gota Brown switches are amazing, if you want a cherry red/blue go for browns. They are lighter than blues, they have a tactile bump and they are perfect for typing AND gaming. Cherry reds are only for gaming as they are really light to press and making typing harder to do. If you want a keyboard soley for gaming go for reds but using them for the first time will take time to get used too. Browns are amazing to get into as they arent too heavy or too light.
