That USB passthrough is brilliant for wireless mice from Logitech in particular. They have an extension cable for the lightspeed receiver so that the signal doesn't need to travel far therefore reducing latency. Instead of an ugly extension cable you can use this port to make your desk look cleaner.

I'm shopping for a new keyboard and have been looking at several reviews, and let me tell you, yours was the most thorough one I've seen so far, you covered every tiny detail about it! (loved the usb pass-through test, my current keyboard has one but doesn't have enough power to even connect a wired mouse there, so this was nice to know!) You were very clear and to the point. It doesn't hurt that, to me, you also kinda sound like Korg from Thor Ragnarok :D You've gained yourself a new subscriber! keep it up! :)
@Koen van Kempen 1 year after the purchase and the keyboard is still amazing, I had no problems with it whatsoever, the build quality is great and the RGB lighting is really nice! Dunno what options are available now, but can totally recommend this one! :)
Yeah, I have this. Liked it at first but the build quality of the keys is absolutely ridiculous. I've never had a keyboard before with such bad keycap design. They are made to break. Now the F3 key broke completely, I hardly even use that one. There are a million better choices out there, in case you're looking to buy this.
you must've had a defective model. I have had it for 9 months and the keycaps are amazing (other than the occasional cleaning to be done as they can attract dust and gunk). but yeah, the keycaps are amazing, you should talk to logitech support if your warranty still covers it, logi has amazing customer service
Great video mate! I have the GX Brown (Tactile) one and I love it! Only con is I couldn't get those gaming caps on the GX Brown version no matter how many times I tried! I guess I'll keep those as backup keys as I gave up trying after a while.
No mechanical keyboards are quiet. End of discussion. Logitech does make a quiet keyboard but it's not mechanical - G213. It cost half the price of this keyboard but for hardcore gamers this is probably the one to get.
I have both the G213 Prodigy and the G513 Carbon Linear and I can assure anyone the G513 Carbon Linear is definitely more quiet. The G213 is easily the loudest membrane keyboard I ever used, because it goes for a "mecha-membrane" action emulating mechanical keyboards, where you really have to hammer the keys down with force for an actual connection. To cut it some slack, G213 is sturdy and solid, it's water resistant, will probably survive several nuclear wars, it may be overpriced, but it's still as high end as membrane keyboards get, but I really hate how it types. The G513 is much more pleasant to type on, costing more than twice as much though.
Ok I will do .. I’m getting a i5 processer and a really good mother board also i order a 120gb ssd and I’m getting this keyboard and a steelseries rival 600 mouse and a 1060 graphics card aswell for Xmas
Logitech G Pro. However, the Logitech G Pro does not come with a wrist rest or extra keycaps. The Logitech G ProX has also recently released which adds the capability of swappable switches.

I have this keyboard and the blue stopped working in both my A and X key within less than a year.
