    Great choices! The USAA Drill press has been on my list for too long. That is a well designed tool to say the least. The ball vise as well. Chris Borge is an excellent talent and his designs are top notch! Subscribed!

      @ I made his lathe and it works quite well I use a stronger motor and changed a little bit the wiring so I have from a sewing machine a pedal as a deadman’s switch so when I take my foot off it turns off the engine and it works really well

      lol, I would love to bring back 3D Printerman, but my first episode wasn’t that popular. I had planned to do a whole series on 3D Printerman if the first one did pretty well. I think I will do at least one more episode in the Spring (it involves Harley bikers)😊

    Great vid. some very useful tools. some i knew about, others i didn't. I will def be printing that vice and all the accessories for my electronics bench. never know when you need a vice. I have a suction cup one that sticks to nothing lol so this will actually be useful.
    One Improvement I would make though is to space out the description a bit better. a solid chunk of text like that is hard to read. like put a black line between each of the tools. then separate out your affiliate links. you could even go as far as separating the affiliate links if you wanted to. that would make it so much easier to read and make it much less overwhelming and better for people that are dyslexic.
    much love x

    • @ristinnovations
      @ristinnovations  2 місяці тому

      I’m glad you liked the video. Regarding the Description, I had so much text that I had more than than YT allowed so I had to remove all my spaces and even then it just fit. I normally don’t have so much information in the description so it’s much easier to read, but thanks for your suggestion. I would love to hear how you make out with making the vice. Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback.😊

    I would like to get files from USSA but I have questions about the building process and don’t get any answers to the inquiry I have sent through the contact form on the website: when buying the files, are there any information provided regarding the hardware required to put everything together?

    • @ristinnovations
      @ristinnovations  Місяць тому +1

      Yes, USSA does list the hardware needed, but not the sources. A couple of things I learned was that the first wood threaded inserts I ordered from Amazon did not fit the holes in the 4D printed parts so I had to order a different design of inserts. Also, he did not provide any details on the laser so I had to enlarge the laser holder so the laser I bought would fit. I hope this helps. Thanks for your question.

    Nice video, but in the future, you should lower the volume or outright mute clips you're gonna talk over, like at 8:50.

    Hi Fellow 3d guys,
    I have a project that requires human flesh tone. I purchased on amazon from a company that said they sold skin flesh tone, and this is what I got. I consider my hand to be flesh tone, what they sent me was some kind of ugly beige. If my skin was that beige color, I would probably have to go to the hospital really quick for a transfusion. Can someone help me find a pla filament that is close to the color of my hand??? Thank you so much for your help. (sorry, I could not add pic that shows my hand. Any white boy hand will do 😜)

    • @ristinnovations
      @ristinnovations  Місяць тому

      I have found that Polymaker has quite a selection of colors of filaments. You may want to check out their Panchroma Matte PLA, Army Beige color. That might work for you. Good luck with your search.

    I have never once had to rewind a spool. Never. Not one time😂 why is it such a problem for people?

    • @ristinnovations
      @ristinnovations  2 місяці тому

      I have used the spool rewinder when I have had spools from other manufacturers that don’t fit into the Bambu Lab AMS. I agree it’s not a daily thing for me either.

    • @radish6691
      @radish6691 2 місяці тому

      “Rewinder” isn’t quite the right word for what it is. The original designer called it a “spool switcher and winder”; I refer to it as a “respooler”. I printed the original and have used it many times to transfer filament from a 250g roll to a 1 kg roll for use in an AMS unit. I tried various spool adapters for the little rolls but they never worked right. I’ve also respooled filament on cardboard rolls that the AMS had trouble with.

      Constantly showing the Bambu name, and only hashtagging Bambu is by definition advertising.
