@@LauraBC Basque Country is so beautiful and interesting I’m wondering if you feel like you’ve exhausted all of your creative energy in regard to that part of the world. Sometimes we get bored with a place because we were raised there and it doesn’t impress us like a new exciting location does. I left the southern USA for the mountains of Colorado when I was young. But I realize now the deep south has a lot to offer and I was just tired of it. Thoughts?

Im due to retire from my full time job as a medical photographer. Since U wull never atop being a phorograpger, you have inspired me to plunge head first into freelance photography, taking in photography projects larger than what Im used to. Muchas gracias por la inspiracion!

Thank you Laura for answering my question! I wish you the best in Bali and continue to look forward to your new content! Drone Tip - For your trip with the Tree Houses....Visually check the height/elevation of the highest tree by hovering near that tree and checking the height on your drone screen. Add at a minimum 10 meters to that and don't fly below it! Point the camera down to check yourself periodically. Rotate the drone periodically with the camera level to be certain you do not have any trees within the level sight. You can also invest in a DJI Air 3 or Mavic 3 with Optical Avoidance which helps a little. Of course, most important, keep line of sight to the drone checking your monitor and looking back to the drone frequently. Your confidence will increase over time!

Wonderful Q&A Love it. You are an inspiration, with your passion, drive and energy!
I'm Sony user and recently bought a Nikon Zf, but I used to have R5 for awhile. I think compared to Nikon and Sony Canon has such a unique and wonderful look to it. It can never be imitated by Sony or Nikon, but since I have too many Sony lenses already, I can only have a second camera that can use my collection of Sony lenses, which is Nikon with Megadap adapter. Canon has its own little world that does not talk to anybody else that's the only problem I have with my R5 no matter how much i love it :)

Thank you so much for this video. Found you by accident and now I'm 3 videos in and have subscribed. Just started taking up photography after many decades. Your videos are soo honest. Interestingly your comments about relationships and first loving yourself comes a very difficult time for me as I have just come out of a 22 year relationship which is hitting me hard. I find I have all the time in the world for myself now but I'm not loving myself that much. One of the reasons for taking up photography again. My only wish is that I should have done it years ago instead of now. I'm nearly 60 and I have the feeling it's maybe too late to go pro but as a hobby I'm looking forward to a new adventure.

I was a Nikon shooter for over 10 years and switched to Sony. I also have zero regrets. The Sony is that good.

You say that you do not think your parents will visit you in Bali.
They DO visit you wherever you go.... but using their spirit whilst they are asleep in Spain.
FEAR NOTHING.
Feel the fear and ask GOD to walk hand-in-hand with you - whoever, whatever, wherever.
We all die. Your parents would be even closer when eventually they too "pass over".
This I found from my own parents "passing over" in 2022 and 2007.
They are closer me to now than they have ever been in this 3D life.
Don't worry either about business failing - as one door shut, another opens.
Nothing is going to happen to you - unless it was in this life's "Destiny Plan".
Having the RIGHT man or woman in your personal life, is like realising that SUGAR is needed in a cake.
