Hey Laura - I like the way you had the guts to touch on your personal life. I'm a full-time high school teacher in Perth, Australia and a professional events photographer on weekends. My wife left me 18 months ago and it has been hell tough. However, by God's Grace, I've been given the courage to carry on, to mostly always be happy and cheerful for my students and clients (people really appreciate this). I hate the UA-camrs who put on this fake charade that life is perfect and always warm and fuzzy - it is mostly not like that for the majority. Some folk deal with depression, others ill health or financials, or toxic relationships or whatever. We need to know that life is like the weather - it comes and goes in patterns and waves but it's still OK!
I just totally love your energy, sure you can get technical but the enthusiasm plus me in. Of course your gear information in very good as well and I have serious but your videos are fun so keep them coming. Continued success.

I live in a small travel trailer and travel around my state on a mission to photographically document the natural beauty to be found in Texas. Texas has a myriad of different landscapes/ecosystems. Traveling from West Texas to East Texas is like going to a whole different world. And many other different ones in between. You’re most welcome Mario! ❤️ I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Manual lenses are totally ok and some of them have very special. For professional photoshoots I prefer autofocus though. I have to shoot quite fast while the models move as well. It all depends on the situation. 🥰

I recently started submitting for Stock Photography and keep running into barriers, which is a steep learning curve. I have photo's on a few stock sites, and am quickly learning not is all that it seems. I only seriously restarted and now I believe I have enough to hold my own exhibition on a wide variety, from landscapes, to action of a cowboy parting ways with his horse. Sadly because I wasnt able to obtain permission to photograph the event. So the images are only personal or for my portfolio.

I know you said you would think of having a team in the future, but would you ever consider having a short term assistant or mentor for a summer? I know I, and many other photographers who learn from you, would love the opportunity to work with you and learn first hand.
Oh, you should do Spanish videos, if you can. There is not many good materials for niche topics like mental health or photography etc etc in native or ethnic languages and they miss out on a lot. Whatever info they have access to is so outdated. Plus spanish is spoken in many countries...its another English. You'll be a superstar in no time in Spanish world
I love your videos. You are very beautiful and I love your voice. One thing that bothers me personally is that I have trouble understanding what you are saying because you speak so fast. If you would slow down a little I would appreciate it. Actors use spaces in their sentences as a way of creating good films. ❤

I recently started submitting for Stock Photography and keep running into barriers, which is a steep learning curve. I have photo's on a few stock sites, and am quickly learning not is all that it seems. I only seriously restarted and now I believe I have enough to hold my own exhibition on a wide variety, from landscapes, to action of a cowboy parting ways with his horse. Sadly because I wasnt able to obtain permission to photograph the event. So the images are only personal or for my portfolio.

Oh, you should do Spanish videos, if you can. There is not many good materials for niche topics like mental health or photography etc etc in native or ethnic languages and they miss out on a lot. Whatever info they have access to is so outdated. Plus spanish is spoken in many countries...its another English. You'll be a superstar in no time in Spanish world

I love your videos. You are very beautiful and I love your voice. One thing that bothers me personally is that I have trouble understanding what you are saying because you speak so fast. If you would slow down a little I would appreciate it. Actors use spaces in their sentences as a way of creating good films. ❤
