Its simple, brings about strong feelings, shows how much that stereotype effects them, can be as deep as the answerer wishes, AND establishes a strong connection between two people. The power and potential in that one question is LIMITLESS. I need to use/think about it more often.

For me the narration what is I mostly dislike about these videos. It does not feel natural. It feels like as someone trying to pretend hard to be kind and sweet, to reach something, to get something. I think it is not a good sign if someone finds this good. Those people can be mislead very easily. This tone and personality is not honest.

The « where do you see yourself in 5 years » kind of bugs me though. I mean I have no clue where I’ll be in 5 years and that’s what I love about life. There is no certainty but so many possibilities... But that’s just my opinion 🤷🏻♀️
Personally these questions seem more like questions a therapist would ask and not the lighthearted, fun, engaging casual conversational questions that make a first date fun. I could see asking these questions after several dates when there is a possibility of a relationship on the horizon.
I simply HAVE to say this. As well as favourite movie or book, you should include favourite video game in that question, if you know they're a gamer. It can tell you if they enjoy a long project (especially if it's an RPG) or things that can be done in a short session, enjoy a difficult challenge or a bit of simple fun, like to think things out or turn their brain off for mindless action, or even if they really dive into a good story. In case anyone is wondering, mine's Mass Effect 2. The story, world and characters are interesting, deep and enjoyable. The gameplay is not too challenging, but not mind numbing. And I do enjoy a good long RPG, so long as I get invested in something about the story, characters or setting.
While all of those questions are great, it is worth mentioning that some skill and preparation is still required before you use them. Talking about those cats for a minute or two after saying "Hello" and establishing some connection will make the conversation flow better than shooting straight for "If you were immortal, how would you spend your life?".

The last dinner we had with my great-grandmother on the motheris day, before she passed away in her sleep 7. I think so, essentially is to live with compassion for every living thing 8. Studying to get my lawyeris license, and working to pay for it... probably by that time i will be getting my lawyeris license, so at the end of the year i should be looking to work as a court reporter (i don't know correct anglish term for that job) 9. Me favorite bók is a tale from Isaac Asimov "The last question". Me favorite show is the fucking punisher (2017) 10. Being wit you 😳... or playing with me dogs, playing with me brothers and me dogs, anything that involves funny physical activities. I also like to know more than the others who surround me, but it is very difficult to achieve this since being a polymath requires discipline.

Appreciate these questions due to my strong reaction to them. I think if a date asked me any one of these questions, I'd feel incredibly anxious, thinking I do not have a "good enough" answer. Then, I think I would be thrust into "emotional mind", feeling an inability to access any wise or rational thoughts. While I feel like self-judgmental thoughts -- fear, shame -- would be plentiful. Suspect I need to gently & self-compassionately ask these questions of myself before I even think of asking them of someone else. And if I ever do ask a date one of these questions, introduce them in a kind and "very-un-job-interview-like" manner, remembering my initial reaction(s) to them.

Unfortunately these questions are the types of questions that I only ask people I know and not in the first encounter, as these questions are intrusive questions that I don't like to ask any person I just met, and I don't answer these questions to a stranger either. It's just me.
Being immortal I’d probably watch all the animes, read all the mangas and books on topics I’m interested in....☺️ Learning to play some instruments.. learning Japanese etc! And maybe spend time on some other hobbies. And sometimes- when I’m ready for social interactions- I’d help some people with groceries, cleaning the houses, taking care of animals... ..are some of the things I can think of rn 🌻
For a first date, more important than the subjects, is to create a natural conversation. These are good things to discuss, but don't go along them as itens wrote in a list. One after another. Just create a nice conversation, entering naturally in these topics.
These are some great questions to ask friends you've been with for some time. Opens up some deep talking moments if you don't know about the other person well enough already. However, it's a little awkward to be asking these to someone you barely know since it's like you're putting them through an interview, no? MULTIPLE THINGS CAN MAKE YOU HAPPY, i feel like there can be more than one answer all worth equal value for these questions. I personally don't like to box myself into a one way of thinking.
Make sure to choose someone that will be able to understand what you are saying or what you are trying to do because sometimes being too deep in mind can make us look fool to other people and it sucks.
That is why I kept it all inside until someone wants to hear what I am thinking... Even so I still observe and feel if she or he is sincere,I don't wanna share something I am thinking and just get misunderstood after.

Then, I think I would be thrust into "emotional mind", feeling an inability to access any wise or rational thoughts. While I feel like self-judgmental thoughts -- fear, shame -- would be plentiful.
Suspect I need to gently & self-compassionately ask these questions of myself before I even think of asking them of someone else.
And if I ever do ask a date one of these questions, introduce them in a kind and "very-un-job-interview-like" manner, remembering my initial reaction(s) to them.
This only works if the person answers the questions truthfully. Without trying to impress or pretending to be someone else

I'm not an introvert. I've just had issues with what questions to ask people. These inquiries work well in any social gathering. Thank you for sharing.
.... thinking about it, questioning yourself these questions might help to know what they wanna be and know their selves more...
MULTIPLE THINGS CAN MAKE YOU HAPPY, i feel like there can be more than one answer all worth equal value for these questions. I personally don't like to box myself into a one way of thinking.
Make sure to choose someone that will be able to understand what you are saying or what you are trying to do because sometimes being too deep in mind can make us look fool to other people and it sucks.
That is why I kept it all inside until someone wants to hear what I am thinking... Even so I still observe and feel if she or he is sincere,I don't wanna share something I am thinking and just get misunderstood after.
If, the first time I hung out with someone, they asked me how I would want to be remembered, I would never speak to that person again lol
That first question is awesome. It'll definitely generate a lot of cool discussions.
