I like how you are showing the Little Rebel as a sit down quilting machine for an option. Love the stencils and will check them out.
So glad you're enjoying these videos! Thank you for sharing and supporting our shop!
I love idea of using stencils for quilting. I am visual and it helps to see the design on the quilt.
I totally agree! So glad you like this idea!
This is awesome Leah! I took over a year off of quilting and am back at it. This is a great technique you are showing! I cant wait to see more designs from you. I'm not able to use this one right now but I'm going to get your swirls & flames so I can practice those skills. The swirls are the perfect filler I need that I didn't feel confident doing freehand. Thank you so much!
You are so welcome! I'm working on more collections to have a variety of themes / seasons. The individual stencils are very good for practicing the shapes as well. Thank you for sharing and for supporting our quilt shop!
Thank you. I haven't had a chance to use mine yet so this is really going to help.
I really hope you'll give them a try and send me a pic of your beautiful quilt! I've put together all the videos for this in one place, plus more tips - leahday.com/blogs/quilt/custom-quilting
@@LeahDay Thank you for the information. I read a few of your tips and find this information very helpful.
Thank you. I loved the idea! Congratulations!
So glad! Enjoy!
Thank you for the video. I bought the stencils and was waiting to use them.
Wonderful! Please let me know if they work for you!
Thank you!
I’m really loving the stencils. But I am concerned about how easy the paper is to remove. How much time are you spending removing the used stencils?
I find it very easy and oddly satisfying to rip the paper away. This is a concern I've heard from lots of quilters, and I did thoroughly test multiple types of paper. I found regular copy paper worked best. It does really help start the tearing process by following the instructions in the stencils - wad your quilt up with the paper to the inside, then wad it up with the paper to the outside. Give it a solid squish and the paper tears away easily.
Can you do a video on using rulers?
It’s on my list, for sure!
