I suggest you to put Thermal boron nitride paste around the nozzle and if you can upload more videos like this for how to upgrade this printer quality pls bro for better prints
Thx AlxAlx, i will try to. Next videos will be printing a Slingshotcrossbowblaster, and a E-Bike build, but after that i will do more upgrades on the printer 👍 Whats that boron nitride stuff you mentioned? Do you use that?
@@Dirt-E-Bikes its like a thermal paste but for your printer less clogging and better quality and i think this paste makes the nozzle last longer you can search it on Google and UA-cam
Thanks mate, allways a pleasure to hear from you 👍 I was looking around for a nice heated insert-press, as you suggested, and found some, but no one that can use my soldering iron (TS 100) right away. So i guess i have to make some changes to the adapting part. At the moment i have 2 other videos that i work on, but i didnt forgot about that one ;-) Have a nice day ✌️

@@billmacfarlane8864 that one looks nice! Cool i also want to try the DIY pet recycling-filament at some point, but didnt looked into it yet. Do you use a hotend from a old printer for that project?
looking at buying some of these for my printer but heard a few people say there not very good do you reckon the improvement in extrusion came more from the size increase or the difference in design im tempted to buy some an use my dentist drill to improve the blade edge in the inlay bring it more inline with the bondtech one
Hi MotoMotion, very interesing, please let me know how that went (further improving it with the dentist drill) 👍 In my case, most of the improvement in printing time comes from the larger diameter of the nozzle. But i recognised some improvement in consistency of the flow when using filament that was allready a bit underextruding with the standard nozzle. I normaly run higher speeds at the edge of my printers capability, so i cant go much faster in movement speeds with the new nozzle... If you can do that with your setup, i think (and heard) that you will get up to 30% more flow (see the links in the description of other youtubers video about this type of nozzle). And yes there are some voices saying they have bad quality, but also ones telling that they own these nozzles and are very happy with it. I can only tell you my experience, and im very happy with them so far. I hope this helped, have a nice day ✌️
Sorry for that, had some problems uploading the video and cant delete them at the moment. Yes its the same video 😅 For the filament: i use "normal" PLA, as well as PETG, PCTG, ASA and some others, but non of them are labeled as the "rapid" or + Type. Have a nice day ✌️
@@Dirt-E-Bikes you should look at elegoos filaments, they have rapid petg for the same cost as normal pla, which i havent gotten to try out yet, but they claim can print much faster than regular pla, and rapid pla which is like 3-4 dollars more but still pretty cheap. I've only used their normal pla so far, but I plan on buying and testing most of their filaments soon

what white filament do yo usue>?
Its called marble white by polytrra, its more like a very light grey with some sprinkles of darker gray material ✌️
