As a 15 year old I would save money from my Saturday job whenever possible. When I had enough I would go to the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool to listen to a concert. I saw and heard people like Sir Malcolm Sargeant, Yehudi Menuhin, Sir John Barbiroli and of course the Orchestra. Many decades ago now but never forgotten!❤
@@AndrewSung-f3s Andrew to compare listening on UA-cam to being there, is I'm sorry to say absurd. It costs less than 2x McDonalds to go see it live. Grow a pair.
I couldn't agree more! A few years ago I attended a fabulous concert at the Hollywood Bowl featuring music of the movies. John Williams led the LA Phil. One of the highlights of that evening was a screening of the first 10 minutes of "Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade" with and without the score. What a difference!
Just some advice - if you’re not hearing the full sound, use headphones and play with the volume. It changes what you’re hearing. Awesome music!! Please keep it coming!
British are indeed Royal. Whether it is education, science, economy, sports, entertainment, history, culture everything literally everything. Long live... Love from 🇧🇩
Incredible, and thanks Classic FM for uploading this at the bitrate of a Limewire MP3 circa 2003. I can really hear the depth of the performance at 64 kbps...
omg this popped on fyp! i think this was actually the same version our school orchestra played for a concert once. super fun to play (sometimes) and listen to :)
If for no other reason than being able to sit in the middle of an orchestra with my baritone horn playing Klaus Badelt and John Williams music, I wish I had stayed with it.
“This is the day you will always remember as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow” ― Captain Jack Sparrow-Pirates of the Caribbean: curse of the black pearl
Until 01:00 I kept rechecking the title because the melody kept waking me up to Novigrad and then transporting to Corvo Bianco at 00:40. Gosh. Made me teary. Iykyk
I am very pleased to enjoy the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack by the Liverpool Symphony Orchestra. It is a wonderful performance where the speed, rhythm, and strength transitions are all correct. In contrast, the performance of the Auckland Symphony Orchestra is more like a disaster, everything is chaotic

This a great performance, but the audio is so compressed and lossy that it made me turn it off before the finale. Come on Classic FM you can do so much better.

One of the best scores in cinematic history.
And to think that the score didn't even earn an Academy Award nomination.
Not even in top 10
