IZ1FID AE1020 a rare Torn.E.b variant produced for Sweden (1941)

Questa è una variante assai rara del ricevitore Torn.E.b costruita per la Svezia nel 1941 (solo 200 esemplari prodotti), differisce dal Torn.E.b per l'utilizzo di valvole RV2.4P700 (in luogo delle RV2P800) per poterlo alimentare con celle al NiCd (più efficienti nel clima dell'artico di quelle al Pb da 2 V) e per la diversa e più estesa copertura di frequenza 200 kHz - 15 MHz. Notate il colore "giallo Svezia" del contorno della finestrella di sintonia e di quella di banda.

This is a very rare variant of the Torn.E.b receiver built for Sweden in 1941 (only 200 built), it differs from the Torn.E.b for the use of RV2.4P700 valves (in place of the RV2P800) to be able to feed it with NiCd cells (more efficient in the climate of the arctic than the 2 V Pb ones) and for the different and more extensive frequency coverage 200 kHz - 15 MHz. Note the "Sweden yellow" color of the outline of the tuning window and that of the band.
