    Wow..472 KHZ, just below the AM Broadcast band here in the States. I love your vintage equipment and straight key. 73...

    Old is Gold…age old proverb to virtue content like apple 🍎 in healthy humble human beings lighting up even one lamp a day output per month exceeds 30 and multiple by time elapses,,the beauty queen of old stuff had fidelity to dance even with drum beats in harmony to heart beats,me review the BC779 communication receiver and T4 FRC transmitters and wonderful was 231D Auto tune lock mechanism from choice of channel change just by dial number to set all capacitors to reset in wanted low medium and high band selection,me was not able to set lock system but my senior Mr MCChakarvarty had a tip and lock in minutes

    Very interesting transmitter and equipment. It was interesting. How is the tone generated in the receiver? Extra generator installed? The transmission frequency is very low, outside of the amateur radio ranges, is this legal with you? Thank you for the video. I saw a lot of old still tube military equipment of the USSR, but it became possible to watch foreign technology not only on UA-cam recently.

      Thanks for the question.
      The tone is generated in the receiver.
      I hear the tone I send out.
      Yes, 475 kHz is a legal amateur band here in Norway.

      @@LA6NCA I have a Soviet tank receiver RT-10, there is also a separate tone generator when receiving a telegraph. There are two pre-installed replacement quartz pads for a numbered link, and a smooth range. Unfortunately, the transmitter was lost as a separate unit.

    Old a T antenna, come on, you should have a dipole, you've got lots of room in Norway (;

      Richard S Why would you want horizontal polarization at low height? The T is a superior antenna for the frequency.
