Very interesting transmitter and equipment. It was interesting. How is the tone generated in the receiver? Extra generator installed? The transmission frequency is very low, outside of the amateur radio ranges, is this legal with you? Thank you for the video. I saw a lot of old still tube military equipment of the USSR, but it became possible to watch foreign technology not only on UA-cam recently.
@@LA6NCA I have a Soviet tank receiver RT-10, there is also a separate tone generator when receiving a telegraph. There are two pre-installed replacement quartz pads for a numbered link, and a smooth range. Unfortunately, the transmitter was lost as a separate unit.
Very fine, congratulation de oe5awl !

The tone is generated in the receiver.
I hear the tone I send out.
Yes, 475 kHz is a legal amateur band here in Norway.

Old a T antenna, come on, you should have a dipole, you've got lots of room in Norway (;
Richard S Why would you want horizontal polarization at low height? The T is a superior antenna for the frequency.
Luckily there were subtitles.
Impressive! Is this equipment still affordable, and can you still find similar equipment for sale?
That isn't a boatanchor... that is a damn Ship Anchor! Very nice to see this equipment restored to such pristine condition!
Very nice Oldenburg equipment, VY73 from DC6EW

Thank you for the video.
Incredible see all these radios working so perfectly.
No automatic TX/RX switching? Why?
No, it's a bit strange.
I agree that it should be automatic, but it is not.
