This album just totally rocks all the way through a double album. And you would be amazed to hold the album in your hands. It's got so much to texture and it's very clever. It was so tactile and Visually amazing and then you put it on in the music just blows you away.
Somewhat of an underrated song, I think it's a real banger. Physical Graffiti is a double album and went platinum 16 times in the US alone. You're in for a real treat. :)
There are a couple on this album that you absolutely have to watch the live versions! In My Time of Dying, and Trampled Underfoot from Earl's Court 1975. Incredible performances!
Thank you for not interrupting the song. And yes.. They are phenomenal period and that's why when bonzo died. They did not continue the ban because all four of them together made the ban
I own 36 Electric Guitars from 10 different manufacturers. They all have a "Signature Sound" when played through an amp without any tone enhancements. String size makes a difference. When tuned E-A-D-G-B-E.... I can tell you when it is a Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster, Gibson Less Paul, Gibson SG, Gibson ES-335, Rickenbacker 325 - 360-12 and most other bands. That is why so many are used to make Guitar based music.
You cannot avoid the "stank face" on this track. My my my you are deep diving on the Zepp. See you on the other side. You still have a ton of magic coming your way.
We lived for about 2 years in a trailer home, and if you walked heavy it would make the needle skip on the album (and scratch it as well) so we used a macrame that is used to hang a large plant and hung the turntable from the ceiling. You had to get creative back in those days to keep your vinyl as clean as possible.
I just bought a new Turntable (does it all/High tech) because I have a rather large album collection decorating the walls in my Music Room. So now I am converting them with the natural sounds from Vinyl. I just made a video of my Music Room, on my place here.
@@AliasMark69 Damn son, you've got some serious history stored in that room!!! You remind me a lot of my cousin in Colorado the way you speak and look, and he's 4 years older than me, also. I'm very impressed with the drum kits you have. Thanks for the tour!!!
Many Zeppelin tunes sound similar, and many don't. That's one of the best factors about this very talented band. Diversity in styles and sounds make them who they are.... among the Greatest Musical Groups Of All Time.
@AliasMark69, these next 2 albums have a mix of the most diverse music (to their date) that LZ put out. Physical Graffiti lived on my Girrard turntable, or at least right next to it. These guys IMHO were the best musicians EVER.
I envy you: You're about to hear the next two on this side, "The Rover" and "In my time of dying," for the first time! prepare to rock and groove and be gobsmacked too, dude!
FYI - Robert Plant would play harmonica on certain songs, and bassist John Paul Jones is a multi-instrumentalist - he contributed organ, keyboards, piano, mandolin, etc. to Zeppelin's tracks... So, it isn't all guitar, bass & drums... Jimmy Page did also use effects on his guitar, including a violin bow to create unusual sounds that he would overdub on the basic studio tracks.
You understood everything bro😂Bravo, you became a real rock connoisseur😂(yes Jimmy used a wah wah pedal with a dirty shit distortion sound, and a lot of middle tone on his guitar😂)....You, truly became good..... I'm not sure your rock fans followers, know as much about hip hop, as you know about rock now😂😂😂😂😂Peace from France 👍✌️
Custard Pie. Greatest of innuendos. RockStars.
Muff Diving song 🎵

Never understood why this gem is not held in higher esteem. It's also the opening track on their greatest album, so it can't be overlooked!
Good for you, brother, soaking it all in. You totally get it man.
YAY! It's Physical Graffiti time! It gets even better 😁It will blow your mind. Masterpiece. Looking forward to these reactions ❣❣ Thanks!!! ☮
You're one of the first reactors not to question the title of the song.
Great tune!

Plant shoulda played harmonica on more tracks
Nice reaction. Bonham always hits you hard.
Plant's harmonica at the end is nasty. The clavinet line from Jonesy makes the riff IMO

Fun song to play
I always thought Jimmy's solo sounded like a pissed-off snake. 😁
