One of Zep's highly under-rated tracks about world unity. And wait until you open the next mystery box! In My Time Of Dying will leave a permanent imprint on your life.
A great album. But to me I really just can't pick which one is there best. There just so great. Listening to them for 52 years never get tired of them. The GOAT'S
Hey JMBoy, just make sure you're in a good place, good mood to hear In My Time Of Dying. You only get one chance to hear it the first time, and it's a top 5 or 6 Zep song imo. One of the most amazing drum songs recorded ever, basically live in the studio. Enjoy.
Zep were absolute masters at starting with a catchy, mid tempo riff or motif and building layers, momentum and suspense into a masterpiece. Every song takes you on a journey and tells a story with music. Geniuses.
Saw Led in 1977. Put on an awesome show that I still remember vividly ( even though I was high as a kite). These rockers were way ahead of their time. Opened with "Song Remains The Same". When Jimmy opened with that guitar riff it was like electricity shooting thru me. I was up front and never sat down till I made it back to my car. First time seeing a laser light show. When Jimmy did his solo he was surrounded by lasers and when he hit a chord the lasers would shift around him. I was amazed. I still have the whole ticket because the crowd crashed the gate and I just waved it at the ticket taker when we rushed by. Price on the ticket is $8.00 dollars and I thought I was being robbed because the most I had paid for a show before that was 5 dollars! Laughable now!
My Favorite LZ song is the first song on their first album.... "Good Times, Bad Times".. Your reaction to it was great. "RIDICULOUS GUITAR SOLO BLEW ME AWAY!!"
You mentioned mystery box at the end of this reaction. I recommend songs from Mickey Hart's Mystery Box, especially the first track, "Where Love Goes (Sito)." Mickey was one of the drummers in the Grateful Dead and his solo catalog is incredible, especially if you love world music and global percussion.
It's weird this LP has 7 songs that were not originally conceived to be on this album and yet it is largely considered to be one of their best. Somehow it fits together cohesively and the flow is perfect. (Those 7 songs did go through massive reworkings though. None are in their original form.)
Great album, although not my fav. 'In my time of Dying' next. Be sure to listen out for the very last 5 seconds, which is a little more light hearted than the subject of this EPIC song. 'Kashmir' is the stand out track and 'Ten Years Gone' is thought provoking. Thanks for your reaction JM. Cheers ✌
Hey JM.... If you never saw this, it is voted the Best Western Movie Scene Of All Time. I agree.....The Scene That Created a LEGEND! A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS (1080p) CLINT EASTWOOD
Remember , life is short and theres no time for Mediocrity. Stay with masterful musc. Theres so much out there that you should have time for the lw stuff. There's alot of that as well. lol.
i wonder how old robert plant was when he began to, not only be aware of all his voice was capable of, but also how others would react to it. really silly question - are tattoos a form of physical graffiti?
Best Zep album for me by a mile. Ten Years Gone makes me cry still.
They are beyond being GOATS....THEY ARE MONSTERS! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

These guys really did know how to ROCK
Love this song! one of my favorites on PG! BUT, I can say that about ALL the songs on this LP because it's Rock Solid from start to finish!
You started smiling and didnt stop....Led Zeppelin in yo face rock n roll. Drums and bass up front, lyrics are spectacular and guitar is beyond godly.
This song always gave me the visualization of the band strutting across the globe as rock gods. 🤘
One of my favorite zep tunes...had this on cassette in the Oldsmobile back Inna day...

Facts. Every word you just wrote. (And actually his reaction to it just dropped--goin there now, woohoo!)

That fade out? OMFG the power of that riff & hook is hypnotyzingly insane!
To get the full effect of “The Rover”, listen to it while driving FAST on an open road, and listen to it LOUD.
Love that track
And your really gonna love ❤️
In my time of dying. Check out the live version 1975 royal Albert hall
Love this song!
Masters of volume and sound
No other band could lay down a groove like them
Physical Graffiti is my favorite Led Zeppelin album. It has a few throwaway songs but it's their most progressive album.
The drum beat in this song is just gold!
The Lovin' Spoonful - "Do You Believe In Magic"
You will love this one... The Hollies - "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother"
Knew you'd like this one!
He's gonna love in my time of dying

The entire double album Physical Graffiti was great. I used to wear my vinyl copy out.
I love the vocals with the guitar on this one
Great tune brings back alot of memories
React on " Tea for One" You will love it!
Ten Years After - "I'd Love To Change The World"
My favorite LZ recording.
I lived through the 70's and the music back then and the music was and still is incomparible to any.
If you think this is a jam .. just listen to Zep's Achilles Last Stand .. guaranteed mind altering
Great song. I love the opening groove with Page and Bonham.

This song is The sound of a beautiful woman walking down the street.
Despite what others might say physical graphitti is the best and most mature album....them at their songwriting pinnacle 🤛

The riff on this song is so nasty it could make an infant start boppin' its head and break into a stank face!
HOT
